Do you know what it feels like
To be less privileged?
To be homeless, lacking a shelter,
Being exposed to the harshness of a blind an unfriendly weather
Everyday
Every hour.
Everytime.

Perhaps you know how it feels like
To be fatherless, motherless
I guess I should say family-less and friendless.
Having no one to turn to
Being regarded as a less human
Because in this wicked, cruel and
Unfair world, you have absolutely
No one.

Maybe you know what it feels like
To be hungry, famished, to have absolutely, No food.
When was the last time you slept with an empty bowel?
Not because you lacked appetite
Not because you just didn't feel like eating.
Not because you were mad at someone or your family at dinner.
But because you had nothing to put
In your mouth, nothing to chew.
Not even an old piece of bread
Not even a bite of an almost rotten fruit
Not even a glass.
Of water.

You probably know how it feels like
To be rejected, unwanted, an outcast
For no good reasonable reason.
Being physically and emotionally
Broken.
Because no body, absolutely no one
Give an F word about you.
To the world you're just another mistake.
Another mistake of humanity.
You're just another moth
Who would be burnt sooner or later
By the flames he's attracted to.
You're just another mistake.
You're nothing but a mistake.
The world gives way more importance
To animals, to plants, to things
Than to you.

You don't right?
You might have a glimpse
But you really don't.
So

Be Grateful.

Someone out there
Goes through a way more difficult
Hard and harsh time than you.
Even if you don't believe in God.
Still be
Grateful.
