Katelyn: Tricky

I laughed happily as Katelyn caught up with me and put her arms around me from behind, pulling me in close

"Got ya" She smiled. I turned and pouted before pressing a small kiss against her nose. I placed my forehead against hers and smiled as her blue eyes pulled me imto a trance that I never wanted to leave. "Now remember Y/N. Never steal the last strawberry puff from me ever again"

"I guess I can try to keep that in mind but there are no promises"

Katelyn rolled her eyes and sighed before kissing my lips gently

"I love you" She whispered. I froze at these three words and gulped. Katelyn is amazing and everything I have ever wanted in a partner but I wasn't sure that I was ready to say them yet. They mean a lot those three words do and as much as Katelyn helps me and means to me I'm just not prepared to return them. Katelyn caught on after looking at my wide eyes and worried face and she pulled from the hug before blankly looking at me

"I'm sorry Katelyn" I apologised. "I-it's just I-I'm not ready to say that yet"

"No, I'm sorry Y/N. I'm sorry that I said that without knowing you were ready." She apologised back and then grabbed her jacket from the back of my couch and left without saying anything else. I sadly watched as she left without having said goodbye and then sadly sat on my couch

"Am I a horrible person?"

I dodged one of Katelyns powerful punches and caught my breath as she got trapped in ice

"Thanks Lucinda" I said but we weren't allowed to breathe for long before Katelyn had broken through the ice. She didn't waste a second with bolting towards Lucinda and I. Lucimda shot a few more spells towards her before she was knocked back and slid across the floor, a large gash on her arm.

During this time I had looked down and saw that Zane had somehow managed to pull Garroth from the evil trance. I smiled as I watched the two brothers embrace before I then turned my attention back to Katelyn at the yell of my name. Katelyn had turned her attention away from Lucinda and was now running towards me

"You are a horrible person" she yelled, her fist coming towards me. I dodged it and managed to fight her back. "I'm not surprised you never told me you loved me. You can't feel the emotion love"

"Katelyn, please listen. This isn't you" I pleaded and dodged another one of her punches that was then followed by a kick. I was thrown back and curled over into a ball. Lucinda gained her strength back and continued using magic to fight Katelyn. For the most part, this was effective but Katelyn semmed to be growing more powerful with each new spell. That's when she sent a spell that caused a mini explosion and loads of smoke to appear. We both heard Zane yell something up to us

"Y/N! Lucinda! Talk to Katelyn" He yelled

"Now isn't the best time!" Lucinda yelled back, looking over her shoulder for a split second before looking back at Katelyn. I stared at the blue haired, blue eyed girl and it hit me.

"In order to break her you need to make her feel something powerful. Like love, remind her of the ones she loves" I heard Zane yell.

Katelyn began running towards Lucinda but I wasn't willing for her to sacrifice herself. Lucinda has magic to protect her, I don't. I pushed her out of the way and then faced Katelyn whose pace quickened when she saw it was going to be me she hurt. I closed me eyes and took a deep breath in

"You better be right Zane" I whispered and opened my eyes just as a fist came my way. I dodged it and the others that followed all while talking to Katelyn. "Katelyn please. You don't want to do this" I begged
