I sat in my car trynna figure out what could it have been. I.. I just maybe I'm rushing things, maybe I should take a step back, a breather, a break. Yea that's what ima do, cause maybe all of this isn't what she want so I'll just give her her space to figure out what it is.

I went back in still to her on the bathroom I packed my clothes and grabbed what I need the rest I could pick up along the way. I wrote a note leaving a rose beside it.

I understand I'm rushing and I'm sorry if I've made you uncomfortable. All this new but I understand if you're not ready for all that. When you are you know my number, as of right now I'm gonna step back a lil cause maybe you don't want all of what I'm trying to do. I love you janet whatever you decide I'll understand and deal with. You probably need some time to think so I'll give you that. I'll be back to get so more of my stuff, if you need me I'm only one call away..... I love you.

I grabbed my suitcase and my other bag quietly closing the door. Ian gone lie my feelings right now, my heart it hurts. What if she doesn't want to be with me man, I just can't imagine my life without her. I drove to a hotel maybe 15 minutes away from where we lived. I checked in going straight to the room closing the door. I decided to go down to the pool and clear my head a little bit and just try to figure what ima do if she chooses not to be with me.

I changed into some shorts and a sports bra leaving my phone in my room. If she does call I don't wanna be too quick to answer and with that thought I put it on do not disturb and headed down.

I got in thinking I had the pool alone but I didn't so I just stayed to myself in the corner way on the other side away from the few that was in here.

I noticed some girl looking at me, I mean just kept staring and shit til she finally made her way over. Now I'm not gonna lie here shawty was bad ass fuck. I mean whew, but she wasn't Janet and with that her coming over here meant nothing to me. I turned my AirPods up all the way hoping she'd catch the memo of I didn't wanna be bothered.

"Hey don't I know you?"

"I don't know, maybe."

"You're Toni, I remember you from elementary school. You was so short and cute, the smartest one in our class. You're wow, you're tall still cute but just tall."

"Thank you, I'm sorry if I don't remember you. Mind telling me your name."

"Latorrey but call me Torrey."

"Torrey ohh tiny Torrey. You ain't tiny no more, you look good."

"Thank you so do you."

"Hey uh what room you in?"

"Cool, look I'm alone tonight mind if I chill with you."

"Nah I don't mind, come on." We got out the pool heading back to our rooms. I went into mines waiting for her to come over. I looked at my phone, no calls. no text. She really didn't wanna be with me what the fuck.

"Hey is ok if I smoke. It's not cigarettes just some gas."
