Chapter 14: 👁👅👁

And after a few minutes, Tsuyu died.

Lol I'm kidding, here's the chapter:

Time: 9:00 (PM)
Day: Sunday, April
POV: Tsuyu Asui

I woke up with a burning pain in my lower stomach. 'What the hell happened?" I asked myself, trying to remember what happened. And then it hit me. We went to another villain league.. we could seem to find anyone and we all met up. What happened next? Was.. I shot? I think so. I mean, that would explain the pain. I was laying down on Ochako's bed. I glanced to the right to see Ochako lying down next to me. She looked as if she had been crying. It makes me sad to even think about the thought of her crying, even if she is a villain. And honestly, I used to think that her being a villain bothered me. And it did as some point. But I don't really care anymore, she's proven that she's still the same.. just a little different. And I think I can live with that.

Despite the pain I was feeling, I sat up and crawled a little closer to the sleeping girl next to me. I got a little closer, (ALL I WANNA KNOW IS, CAN YOU GET A LITTLE BIT CLOSER- no? Nobody wanna jam to Tegan and Sara with me? Okay-)  I rested my head on her shoulder, loving the warmth she brought.

"Tsu..? Your awake?!" The soft voice of the girl beside me echoed through my ears.

"Yeah, I am. Good morning?"

"It's 9 in the afternoon, Tsu."

"Oh."

"Do you remember what happened?" Ochako questioned, sitting up a bit and causing me to sit up as well.

"Well, kind of. I remember everything up to the point I got shot. I don't recall anything after that. Ribbit." Ochako seemed to tense up at the word 'shot.'

"Well.." She trailed off.

Flashback, Ochako's POV:

"TSUYU!" I instantly moved to catch the greenette who was slowly falling to the floor.

"HOLY SHIT! WE GOTTA GO!" Toga shouted as more people emerged from behind doors and walls. Toga ran over to where I was struggling to hold Tsuyu, and helped me get her up in my arms. Tsuyu's blood drenched my shirt.

Dabi and another man who came along with us, both started fires on opposite sides of where we were standing. The other guy also has a fire quirk apparently. Good to know, but I really couldn't care less right now.

Dabi shouted for us to run and that he would be coming right after us. He and the other guy stayed back, while me, Toga, Tsu, and another guy ran towards the nearest exit.

I looked down at the unconscious girl in my arms. "Don't die on me Tsu.."

-Flashback Over-
POV: Tsuyu Asui

"So that's what happened..?"

Ochako simply nodded in response, as if she was trying to forget the memories of what happened earlier today- or yesterday? a few days ago? I don't even know anymore.

"I care about you, Tsuyu. A lot. More than a friend cares about their friend.." She whispered that last bit, but thanks to the fact that we were still close to each other I heard her. More than a friend cares about their friend? What's that supposed to mean?

"I care about you too. Ribbit." I noticed her pink cheeks growing a little more pink than they usually were.

"And.. I really like you. A lot." She continued. 'Where's this going..?'  I felt my cheeks also growing warmer.

"Um well, I like you too, Ochako." Her eyes lit up at this response.

"Really?" She asked, a hopefully tone hidden in her voice. I tilted my head.

"Yeah, Ochako! Your still my best friend." Her face seemed to fall at these words.

"Right, we're best friends.." She said, almost like she was reminding herself. "Well, I'm gonna head out now." She slowly got up.

"Where are you going?" I asked her, already missing the warm sensation she brought me.

"League stuff. Villain stuff." She explained. Although it didn't really seem like she was being very truthful.

"You'll be back right?"

"Of course! This is my room too, after all." She answered, smiling warmly.

Short chapter, but I felt guilty 'cause of that cliffhanger 👁👅👁
