Thursday turned Friday, the 3rd, and Karbala descried
Umar ibn Sa'ad with an army of 4000 horsemen
As appointed by the damned brute; Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad.
Fie, trading Husayn's blood for the illusion of this world?!"Woe be to you O son of Sa'ad! What would be your
State at the moment when you will be standing between
Paradise and hell and you shall choose the hell."
Verily, what Imam Ali predicted came out to be true—For the damned man preferred encountering Allah with
Husayn's blood upon his neck than celestial salvation.
Umar demanded Qurrah ibn Qays Hanzali to ask Imam Husayn
As to why he went to Karbala, and of his desires..."The people of your town have written to me and
Requested me to come here. Then if you hate my presence
I shall return back." Replied the Imam, and ibn Sa'ad wrote
A letter to ibn Ziyad and informed him of what the Imam said.Woe! Lo! Woe! The accursed (ibn Ziyad) offered a proposal
To Imam Husayn and his companions to take the pledge
Of allegiance toYazid. How direful were their hearts?!
How overwhelmed were they with satanic temptations?!@khadimatulhusayn
