30000 men in the great mosque of Kufa by

Ibn Sa'ad asked Amr ibn Hajjaj with five hundred
Horse-men to block the Imam and his companions from
Obtaining water from the river of Euphrates—what could be
More monstrous than depriving them of water;
Depriving Husayn and his family of the water which
Pigs and wild hogs drank from?! Woe betide the tongue of
Ubaydullah ibn Haseen Azdi which uttered "O Husayn!
Do you see this water similar to the heavens? By Allah!
You shall not taste even a drop of it until you perish of thirst"!
May Allah's curse be upon such a horrendous brute!
"O Allah! Make him die of thirst and never forgive him."
Replied the son of the revered Messenger of Allah.
