The next arrives and Dawn and Serena are waiting for the semifinals to be drawn.
"Here they are! Our brackets!" shouted the caster.
Dawn and Serena look at the screen.
"Looks like we are not going to face each other until the final..." said Dawn.
"I will be waiting for you!" said Serena, smiling.
Dawn smiles back.
They both went on to win their respective battle.
They are on a break, waiting to be called to the final.
They are on the cafeteria together with Brock, eating a snack.
"I told you that you were going to do well!" said Dawn, out of nowhere.
Serena is surprised by Dawn's phrase so suddenly.
"Thanks for believing in me, I guess.." said Serena laughing nervously.
Dawn smiles.
"But did you have fun?" asked Brock.
"Of course! New experiences are always fun if you think about them in the right way!" said Serena.
Brock smiles.
"She sure is a perfect match with Ash..." thought Brock.
"The final is starting in five minutes!" shouted the caster.
"I think it's time for us to head our way!" said Dawn, smiling.
Serena nods and smiles.
"You'll be cheering for me, right Brock?" asked Dawn.
"No! He'll be cheering for me!" said Serena.
"Why? I know him for longer than you do!" said Dawn.
Brock is unimpressed.
"Girls... I will be cheering for the both of you!" said Brock, smiling.
"How are you going to do that?" asked Dawn.
"Yes... How are you going to do that?" asked Serena.
"Simple! I'll be cheering for the battle to be a heated one!" said Brock, smiling.
"That makes sense..." said Serena.
"I guess so..." said Dawn.
"Let's head our way!" said Dawn.
"Let's go!" said Serena.
"Good luck guys!" said Brock.
"Thanks!" said Dawn while running off.
"Wait for me!" said Serena while chasing Dawn.
Serena turns to Brock.
"Also, thanks Brock!" said Serena.
Brock smiles.
Serena went back to chasing Dawn.
Serena manages to catch up with Dawn.
"Why did you run!?" asked Serena, panting.
"I'm not going to go easy on you just because it's your first Contest..." said Dawn.
"What?" asked Serena.
"I'm not going to go easy on you just because it's your first Contest..." said Dawn.
"I'm not going to go easy on you either!" said Serena, determined.
"That's how I like!" said Dawn.
