harry,
louis and
niall sat in
the school's garden.
people glaring
at them with
disgust swept all
over their
faces.
they were eating
a sweet
apple pie louis
baked this
morning.
niall was still
idolizing
louis,
he was in
love
with the skills
he had.

harry sat there,
looking at
niall gazing at
louis with a
certain
glint in his
eyes,
as harry's mind
got filled
with a
unknown form
of jealousy.
but why does
this jealousy
exist?

harry was pouting
trying to
contain the envy
bottled up
inside of him
as he wrapped his
arm around
niall and pulled him
closer while niall
placed his head on
harry's firm
chest as the taller
lad slowly
patted his head,
keeping his eyes
still on
louis.

louis was innocent,
he didn't
understand what
harry was trying to
tell him
indirectly,
as he stood up,
brushing off the dust
and grass from his
clothes, leaving
for class.

harry looked
deep down into
his blue eyes,
as niall asked him,
"what is
love?"

harry giggled a
little, only
to realise that niall
still had his eyes
fixed on him
as he genuinely asked
this question.
he didn't know what
to respond as
he heard niall say,
"i have never experienced
it. how does it feel like?
does it feel like
this?"

harry's eyes lit up
as he stroked his blond
hair tenderly,
"love is like caring
about someone beyond
all rationality and
wanting them to have
everything they
want, as long
as they are happy,
no matter how much
it destroys you inside."

he took a deep breath
and continued,
"it's like giving someone
the power to destroy
you in every way
yet trusting
them not to.
it's like holding onto
them like
there is no tomorrow.
it's like giving
everything you have
and not expecting
anything in
return."

niall looked at harry,
impressed with
the words that came out
of his mouth,
as he said,
"is it like giving someone
the last piece of
cake, no matter how
much you want it?"

harry smiled widely,
"yes, exactly."
