"Well look what we have here. " Sirius Black said to the girl when he stepped into the compartment.
But she couldn't hear him.
"Are you deaf? " He said once again. He stared at her and yanked her hair back, causing her book to drop to the floor.
"Ow son of a-!" Alyssa yelled, taking out her earphones. "You do know that if you wanted my attention- " Her words were cut off as soon as she laid her eyes on the four boys that called themselves the Marauders. She knew she was stronger than all of them put together, yet she endured the pain they put her through.
"Oh. Hello." She said, her eyes looking up at them.
They were taken aback. Usually, by now, she'd be stuttering over her words.
Sirius moved towards her and she flinched.
Staying still, she said in a calm voice,
"If you want me to go I'll go. It's fine."
She grabbed her things and walked out of the compartment, leaving her earphones and book on the seat.
Sirius noticed this and with one swift motion, he took her stuff and hid it in his robe. He wasn't stealing it. He just wanted it. And when Sirius Black wants something, he gets it.
