"Some Nights" by Fun. This song is about being confused and angry and unsure of which way to go. This really sums her up, especially in ToW.

"Human" by Christina Perri. Aru's always doing stuff for other people but she doesn't do enough for herself. It also kinda matches her seemingly intrusive/depressive thoughts.

"Heartbeat Song" by Kelly Clarkson. I feel like this song describes his view of Aru and the role she plays in his life. Well, I hope so, anyway. Also a ship song.

"Nobody's Fool" by Avril Lavigne. In TOW, Mini really begins standing up for herself (can we just have a moment of appreciation for Mini?). She's not hardened, but she's not innocent. She's just doing what she feels is right for herself.
