Chapter Five: The Date

At this point Drew isn't sure what he is anymore- right now all he knows is- he has feelings for Zander...
He's sure he will make the right decision.

It was Thursday at Lunchtime- the day after Drew told Jake he has feelings for Zander...

Drews Pov:

I know that Zander probably doesn't like me but... I just have these feelings that just won't go away. I felt like I was straight for a while now... Except... I don't think I am anymore- I get I used to bully Zander but... I feel like I just can't let go of him...

I see Jake, Henry, and Liam talking to Zander about the piano as they find it actually interesting... Funny- I don't even know why we bullied them, especially Zander when he's such a... Amazing guy-
I don't get it- why do I like him so much?

I see Zander look at me and I feel shivers go down my spine-
"Why aren't you eating Drew?"
Oh- I'm not really hungry right now-

Which was a lie... I haven't eaten all day. I just can't stop thinking...
"You should eat Drew- it's not good if you don't eat"
Zander it's okay- I'll be fine
It was cute how he cared about me... I would smile at him- and... He would smile back... It would always make me happy when he would smile at me.

"Zanders right Drew you should eat-"
I look at Jake as he speaks to me- it's not the same when Zander talks to me... It makes me feel like I'm only attracted to him? I- is that normal?
Then... I had an idea-

Hey- Zander can we talk after school?
I didn't know what I was doing.

"Oh- Sure Drew!"
Jake and Liam gave me a look like I was gonna do something stupid. I felt like I didn't know what I was doing. Yet I know what I was going for.
I- I wanted to ask Zander something.

Later at the last period of the Day:

I kept watching the clock waiting for it to hit 3pm so I could go-
Seconds felt like minutes and minutes felt like hours- the teacher was reading a book- but I wasn't listening. All I kept doing was watching the time tick. I felt my heart start racing when it hit 2:59.
It was so close-
We started packing up our things and I felt adrenalinen flowing inside me.
1 minute.
30 seconds.
10 seconds.
1.

When the bell rang it was like I got free- now. To find Him.
I saw Zander by his locker grabbing his stuff- so I walked up to him and said-

Zanders Pov:

I was just grabbing my stuff trying to figure out what piano tune to play with our new track- until I saw Drew walking towards me-
Then I remembered he wanted to tell me something.
"Hey Zander!"
I could tell he was nervous to say something...
"I've been wanting to ask you a question..."

What Question could he have been wanting to ask me? It has to be important if he's asking me!?
I could hear the studdering in his voice...
"I was wondering... If you wanna... Go on a Date with me?"

My heart raced faster then ever before-
D-Did he just ask to go on a Date with me!?! Why me?!? He is pretty nice- and... Cute- so I guess I could give it a chance-...
I- oh sure!
I saw his face lighten up with a smile on his face- I knew I made the right choice- I couldn't even say no if I wanted to-

"So wanna- go for a... Dinner Date?"
I was shocked- I didn't want him to spend money on me... I didn't know what to say-
Oh Sure!
I smiled at him blushing- I saw his face was turning red as I smiled at him... He was cute.
"Alright! I'll come pick you up! Not to be weird or anything but- what's your address so I can pick you up-"
All I could think at that moment was how cute he was- he was adorable...
Oh! Yeah it's 569 Sundew St.

I saw him smile and me and then just... Hug me. I felt happy... And warm
"okay! I'll see you later Zander!"
I smiled... He was so happy- I hope I don't mess this up...

Later at 5:30pm

Drews Pov:

I'm not exactly sure which house is Zanders but I hope I find it soon- it's almost 6- I can't be late-
A few moments later I spoted a house saying 569- that's Zanders house

I got out of the car and fixed my tie-
I went up the steps and rang the door bell.
I waited for a couple seconds expecting Zander to answer the door, but then a Blue haired girl answered the door and looked confused...

"May I help you?"
That voice sounded familiar-
Yes- I'm here to pick up Zander-

She looked shocked and then went back into the house-
I waited for what felt like an hour-
Which was only 5 minutes.
She came back to the door and Zander came down in a black and purple suit- he looked so-... Handsome
She said bye to him and Zander walked out

"You look nice" I blushed-
T-Thanks you do too-
He smiled at me and I opened the car door for him
We started driving- we listened to music in the car while driving and Zander started singing to them- it was so cute... I smiled at him and he turned a bright red- soon we arrived at the restaurant. I opened the door for him and we walked in and got seated

The waiter gave us our menus and we looked at everything on it-
"Do you wanna share something like uhm I don't know a pizza, split a burger, you know? Im fine with whatever-"
I didn't know or care what we got I just wanted this to be a good date-

"Hello you two- what can I get you two love birds to drink?" I saw Zander blush because what the waiter called us- it was cute...
I'll have a Water-
"Me too"  I was expecting for her to walk away but she didnt- she kept on talking?

"Now can I get you any couples Deals like the Specials?"
Me and Zander looked at each other confused on what the "specials" Were-  then we both realized she thinks we're a couple... But we both just went with it-

"What's on the " Couples" Menu?"
I giggled at the way Zander said it and he looked at me and laughed a tiny bit-
"Oh well we have a big pizza, pasta, and-"
Zander looked at me when she said pasta and I knew what he wanted-
We will take the pasta-
"Oh alrighty one Couples pasta, is that all?"
I looked at Zander and he nodded his head
Yes that will be all thank you-
"Alright it will be out in a bit- enjoy"

Zander smiled at me and we started some small talk-
I'm glad you Same Zander- really I am
He looked at me and Blushed- he is so cute...
"I'm glad you asked me"

"Alrighty guys I have your pasta! And two waters, enjoy!"
I looked at Zander and realized how happy I am to be with him...

Later after they ate:

"Hello guys! Here's the bill once you pay you guys can head on out"
I started to get money out of my wallet until Zander put a 50$ bill on the table-
Oh- uh Zander you don't need to pay- I got-
"No no it's alright- trust me I got it"
He smiled at me and we got up and headed out-
He grabed my hand as we were walking out- I blushed and unlocked the car- I opened his door for him and we headed back to his house-

Back at Zanders house:

Zanders Pov:

I got out of the car and Drew walked me to the door holding my hand-

I had fun tonight- thank you Drew-
"It's no problem I'm glad you had fun"
His smile beightens my mood...

I stood there for a few seconds and had to do it.
I grabed Drew by his shoulders and kissed him on the cheek-
He turned a bright red-
Bye Drew, I'll see you tomorrow-

"Bye Zander-"
I walked inside...
I think I'm in love-
