(America's POV)

Belarus doesn't seem to mad about me staying over, which is good, but she was pretty angry about me scaring Russia. If I wasn't a ghost I'm sure I would have a knife in my face.

While at her house, I got to observe the Baltics' and Slavics' personalities. At the meetings the only emotion they had ever shown was fear, since they always had to sit next to Russia.

Lithuania seems like a pretty good person, I'm sure if he could see me then we would be great friends.

Ukraine is also pretty nice, which is weird considering how her sister and brother are.

Estonia is pretty cool, but I caught him feeding this weird white circle thing some lettuce. I tried to get a closer look but then the creature turned around and looked directly at me. Not only was it able to see me, but it also looked very similar to me, which freaked me out a bit.

Latvia was somewhat sad to observe, he's about the same age as me, but gets treated the harshest of the Baltics. He seems rather pessimistic and somewhat of a crybaby, probably since he is terrified of Russia to the point of insomnia.

Russia seemed the most interesting to me. He acts pretty crude and scary to the Baltics, but I can tell he's a good person on the inside. He also has some weird habits, like blowing a kiss from his balcony every morning, and constantly calling China talking about wanting to "become one."

Belarus is impossible to observe, seeing as she can see me, but even what I have observed doesn't help me understand her personality.
From what I've seen, she can go from completely normal to psychotic in an instant. Like when she obliterated a door just to get to Russia. Maybe Russia's fear of his sister isn't so crazy after all.

I guess in order to get a better read on her personality, I'll just have to do it the old fashioned way.

(3rd person POV)

America walked up to Belarus' door and knocked on it.

"It's open." America heard Belarus' voice come from inside the room.

America walked through the door and found Belarus sitting at a desk while writing in a book.

Belarus looked behind her to find America standing in the center of her room.

"What do you want Amerika?" Belarus said as she closed the diary she was writing in.

"Well I just thought we could talk some more. I told you my life, so I think it's only fair if I learn some more about you." America answered as he walked over and sat down on her bed.

"Nyet, now go away." Belarus pointed to the door.

"Aw come on, I've told you everything about me, I don't even know you're name." America stood up and walked over to Belarus.

"I don't care, now go." Belarus said again, as her glare became more and more intense.

America realized that there was only one way he was gonna get her to talk, so he brought out his secret weapon.

America got down on his knees and looked up at Belarus with the biggest puppy dog eyes he could muster.

Belarus' glare began to falter as his giant sky blue eyes bore into her own violet ones. She swore she could see stars in his eyes.

Belarus finally gave into the overwhelming stare of those eyes and looked away. "Fine, just stop staring at me like that."

America jumped up and gave a huge grin of victory. "The puppy dog eyes never fails."

America then went back over to the bed and sat down.

"Fine, what do you wanna know?" Belarus said as she turned her chair toward him.

For the next couple hours, America asked Belarus about her life as well as her siblings. For some reason, however, he could never get her to answer one question.

"Alright, I'll ask you one more time. What. Is. Your. Name?" America questioned.

"For the last time, I'm not telling you." Belarus shot back.

"Fine, but I will learn you're name eventually, and I'll get you to call me Alfred."

Just as America was getting up to leave, he heard Ukraine yelling from downstairs.

"Ivan, Natalya, it's time for dinner!"

America spun around and pointed at the irate Belorussian.

"Ha! Suck it!" America started cheering in victory.

"I swear to the fucking ancients, I'm gonna find some way to bring you back to life, then I'm gonna lock you in the basement and make you go through every Soviet torture method I know!" Belarus yelled at America before storming out of the room.

"Sure thing Nat!" America yelled to her.

America then began to register what she just said. "Bring you back to life." As America thought more about this, the more the idea became intriguing.

'Could I actually be brought back to life?'

After Belarus finished her dinner, in a very grumpy mood, she walked back to her room and found America sitting on her bed mumbling to himself.

Belarus was about to tell him to fuck off, but then America realized she was there and jumped up from the bed.

"Natalya, you're a genius!"

"Huh, what? W-wait don't call me that!"

America put his hands up in a surrender and just smiled at her. "Sorry, sorry, it's just that you gave me an idea."

"What do you mean?" Belarus asked, completely lost.

"You were right, we should try to bring me back to life."

Belarus just stared at America with guilt for giving him false hope.

"Amerika, I'm sorry but I don't think there's any way to bring you back."

"We don't know that. From what I know, there has never been a dead nation in the living world as a ghost. If a nation can be brought back from limbo, then there may be a chance that a ghost nation can be brought back to life."
America said with a big grin.

"Besides, how was I brought out of limbo?"

"England messed up a spell." Belarus said, now starting to understand what America was talking about.

"Exactly, which means that magic might be able to bring me back fully." America finished his explanation with his 1 million mega-watt smile.

"That's great and all, but I thought you hated England? Why would you want help from him?" Belarus questioned.

"Who said anything about getting help from him? All I need is a flight to London."

Belarus thought about it then gave America a nod in agreement.

"Good, so "Operation: Bring Back The Hero" is a go!" America yelled as he struck a hero pose.

"You are an idiot Amerika."
