"There you are, my Prince."

"(F/N).."

Bakugou sat up slightly, immediately being pushed back down into the bed as you climbed on top of him, hugging him tightly. He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close, turning to the side to hold you like he always did. You sighed happily, your voice weak and sad, but the smile and content expression stayed on your face.

"The days are getting longer."

"I know, I know, but I think we're making progress."

You tilted your head and leaned up, looking around the room for a moment, only to be brought back down by Bakugou

"I met Yaoyorozu Momo, and now we're staying in Langston. Uraraka, Deku, Kirishima, and Pinky are still here. You met Yaoyarozu once, right?"

You looked up to Bakugou, sighing and shrugging as you smiled up at him.

"I think so, but I can't remember. If you think I did, you're probably right, you're always right!"

"...Gods, I thought I would want you to be this obedient, but it's just annoying."

Bakugou laughed and hugged you closer, smiling softer when you purred against his skin. He liked that you disagreed with him often; that you told him no, and got angry with him. No one was ever both so kind, yet so disrespectful with him the way you were.

"Well, I do know that Uraraka can do magic."

"You do?"

"Yeah, but I don't get it. I think it's better to leave those things to people who study it."

Bakugou pouted, sighing and kissing your forehead before resting his chin on the top of your head. He wanted to tell you his plan; he wanted to bring up this dream magic to see if maybe even his dream version of you could have some sort of legitimate opinion. You scoffed, pinching his cheek as if you had read his mind.

"Please don't go questioning why I say that, and don't go getting into trouble. I know how you are."

"I'm not making any promises. I'm not going to get give up this chance when it's right there."

"You're right...just ignore me, my Prince! I shouldn't have said anything."

A weak smile formed on your lips and Bakugou rolled his eyes, sighing as the pain in your voice sounded so pathetic. You were just saying what he wanted you to say, you weren't giving any real advice. Bakugou hummed and turned onto his back, pulling you up with him so that you were laying on top of him again, pressed against his body as a chill ran down his spine

"You're going to go and get involved in something you can't handle and I'm not going to be there to save you. What will you do then?"

"I could say the same about you, Sunset."

You were quiet, ignoring Bakugous smirk as he kissed you again. In a strange way, you were saying things he didn't want to hear, or rather, you were saying things he wanted to hear, but just wouldn't admit to. But...what would you do? Bakugou shook his head and whispered, growing tired between you and the warm bed.

"I'll be safe, I promise, okay? If I'm not, maybe I'll consider letting you be mad at me, deal?"

You nodded against Bakugou and began to kiss at his jaw and neck, humming quietly as he closed his eyes, enjoying the last moments of your time together for the night. His nights with you were getting shorter and shorter, did that mean anything? Were you two...growing apart? Closer together? Bakugou hummed and went to ask you, but stopped when he knew you'd give some fake, unrealistic answer that he would've wanted you to say.
