Siege of Ossus part 2 - Chapter 6

Muzza puts a full cartridge into his DC-15LE and rally's his Mudjumpers. The Mudjumpers and the recruits surround him in a school circle formation and listened to Muzza.

"Alright listen up, from this point forward there will be no rockets or thermal detonators used," Muzza said watching the troops start dropping their RPS's, "Inside the temple, there is a relic of Lord Revan himself, the objective is to recove——"

Muzza couldn't finish his sentence when the sound of Droid bombers and Hyena droids flew down wiping out 3 of their 4 remaining spider walkers and the ammo depot. Muzza hops into comms and calls out to guardian.

"Guardian 1 we just got bombed down here, we have a mass cas, need you guys to take out those bombers or we won't make it to the temple," Muzza said

"Apologies sir, we've been busy up in the skies that some have been slipping off from us" Lich responded

Muzza sent some Medics to tend to the wounded and then continued

"The objective is to recover the relic of Revan, we don't know what it is. Droids have corridors of the temple secured so we will be using secret tunnels to outmaneuver them."

A medic ran over to Muzza to inform him about one of the recruits getting injured. Muzza knew with this 2nd recruit being injured he'd have fewer troops to fight in the tunnels. Muzza walked over to Pierce to speak to him about the walkers.

"Get 2 medics at that walker, and 3 over there on those walkers" Pierce stood there ordering the medics around

"This isn't our lucky day," Muzza said to Pierce

"You can say that again" Pierce responded," 3 walkers destroyed, 15 out of the 45 troopers I brought are dead including Engi"

Muzza looked at the troopers running over to help out the injured troopers then looked back at Pierce

"Sir, what are your orders?" Pierce asked Muzza

"Get the wrecked walkers out of the way, we will push to the Jedi temple as planned" Muzza responds

Pierce nodded and started ordering his men to move the wrecks and the injured out of the way. Muzza and the rest of the troopers began moving towards the temple. Merik ran to Muzza and tried to speak while catching his breath

"Sir...What are the odds we'll take this temple back" Merik asked

Muzza continued to walk through the canyon towards the temple looking down at the ground

"I don't know Merik, but all I know is we have a job to do and we wanna get the rest of these troopers alive" Muzza responded

A red bolt fly passed Muzza's helmet hitting the trooper behind him, the rest of the red blaster bolts begin to fly towards him, he looks up and dashes for cover instantly with the rest of the troopers and begins firing back.

"Merik do you have eyes on where they are shooting from!" Muzza yelled

"Negative I can't see anything sir" Merik responds

Muzza looks back at Avor and calls out to him

"Avor, do you have eyes on where the blaster fire is coming from?" Muzza asks

"Affirm, up on the ridges!" Avor responded, "I've sent whiskey company to the ridges to clear them out!"

Muzza looks at the ridges and sees the droid scraps fall to the ground. Muzza tells everyone to move with a single hand gesture and the troops continued their path. The battle in the skies continues, Muzza watches the Hyena bombers come burning down from Guardian. A recruit ran up to Muzza.
