Gauri was confused and curious of the person who said that but Om seemed to knew who the voice belonged to as he rolled his eyes.
Everyone came rushing downstairs; Anika, Shivay, Jhanvi, Dadi....the whole Oberoi family came. Om looked up to see a shocked Rudy on the stairs.
Om: you might as well come downstairs too Rudy.
Rudy did as he was told and came down. Okay so Gauri knew one member of the Oberoi family...Rudy well two technically, Rudy and Om.
Anika: you got married?!
Pinky: buts....buts theres no garlands?
Shivay: Om, who is this girl? Why is she in a bridal lehenga? Did you actually get married behind our backs?
Om: what? No!
Somu: then who is she?
Om: Gauri, meet my family. Family, meet Gauri.
Gauri: hi.
Oberois: hi.
Rudy: so Gauri is your wife? Welcome to the family Gauri bhabhi!
Gauri and Om: we're not married!
Anika: if you two aren't married then why does Gauri look like a bride?
Om looked at Gauri and said in a low voice that only she could hear: do you want me to tell them or do you want to tell them?
Gauri in a low voice: I will tell them.
Om: okay...
Om turned to face his family once again...his family still all wore confused faces.
Gauri: I was supposed to marry today but I ran away.
Oberois: ran away?
Gauri: haan voh...my fiance was going to leave me on the roads after the wedding night so I ran and managed to get on a train. When I reached Mumbai, I met some drunk men who tried to take advantage of me so I had to run. When I was running, I bumped into Om and he beat up the men.
Tej laughed. Gauri was confused....why was he laughing? The Oberois also
happened to be confused about why Tej was laughing.
Tej: Om? My son Omkara Singh Oberoi? He beat up those men?
He continued to laugh.
