Janie POV
I whine and roll out of bed and grab my blanket wrapping it around myself before walking downstairs to see Mary reading with her headphones in. I pout and walk over and flip over the couch and land on Mary's legs. She looks at me and takes her headphones out. "What are you doing?" She asks and I whine,
"Wuv me pweaseeee." I say and she giggles,
"Why are you talking like that?" She asks,
"Because I'm sweepy and need cuddles." I mumble and she giggles. "Maryyyyyy," I whine and she wraps her arms around my waist pulling closer and kisses my cheek.
"You're adorable," she whisper and I snuggle into her and she giggles.
"Mary. I have to tell you something." I say and she looks at me concerned,
"What is it?" She asks and I smile and lay my head on her shoulder,
"Dat I wuv you with all my heart." I say and she blushes, "has anyone ever told you how incredible you are?" I ask and she shakes her head, "I'll have to do something about that." I say and Mary smiles, "Mary." I whisper and she kisses my head,
"Yes?"
"You're incredible." I say and she smiles,
"I'm not but y-"
"Don't argue with me you're incredible and I will drill that into your mind if it is the last thing I do." I say and she giggles.
The next day
I roll out of bed and grab a bunch of paper and start writing on them.
Mary POV
I open the door and Janie runs over holding a piece of paper. "IMISSEDYOUUUUUU!" She yells and I giggle and she hugs me.
"I was only gone for 2 hours." I say and she puts the piece of paper on my head,
"2 hours too many." She says and I take the paper off my forehead.

"Thank you." I say and she smiles,
"Have fun finding all of those." She says and I look at her confused, she giggles and sits on the couch. "Also, date night tonight."
"I was gonna finish my book tonight." I say and she smiles and pecks my lips. "Ah ah. More than that thank you very much." I say and she giggles and kisses me, I kiss back and she pulls away.
"You can still finish your book tonight," She says and I smile. "Wear something comfy."
"And by comfy you mean your clothes."
"Duh! What else would I mean?" She asks and I shrug and giggle.
Later that night
Janie POV
I laugh and look at Mary who had paint under her nose. "Did I find all of the 'you're incredible' papers yet?" Mary asks and I smile,
"No you missed one." I say and she looks around before looking at me,
"What?! Where?!" She asks and I move a piece of hair behind her ear and bring my hand back holding a sticky note.
"Right there," I say and she stares at me.
"How'd you do that?" She asks and I smile,
"Normally I would say a magician never reveals their secrets however I'm willing to make an exception for you." I say and she smiles,
"Great now teach me!" She exclaims and I giggle.
1 hour later
I smile and rip up all the papers and Mary frowns. "Don't worry, I'm making something for you." I say and she watches as I stick all of the papers on the canvas that I had painted yellow. She smiles and I feel her kiss the back of my neck. I point to my cheek and she kisses my cheek,
"oh you missed a spot of paint." Mary says and grabs the paintbrush,
"Where?" I ask turning around to look at her and she paints my cheek yellow. "M A R Y!" I screech and she giggles, I grab the green paint and smear it on her face.
"NOT THE GREEN!" She yells and I giggle, "I ONLY DID A DOT THAT WAS LIKE-" she makes a gesture with her hands and makes a weird noise and I laugh. I peck her lips and she glares.
"Oh don't be grumpy," I say and she crosses her arms. "Oh does ma baby need cuddles?" I ask and she shakes her head. I crawl into her lap and she looks away, I poke her cheek and she looks at me. I smirk, "hi baby." I say and she kisses me.
"I'm mad at you."
"I'm in love with you too." I say and she blushes, I giggle and hug her tightly. I lean my forehead against hers and she looks up and kisses my forehead.
"Janie," she whispers and I lay my head on her shoulder and she rubs my back. "You're the most beautiful girl in the entire world and I could never in a gazillion years imagine my life without you because you're my life and my light and the thing that makes me smile. You're the reason I'm happy all the time and you're the reason I want to be happy. I love you Janie Grey." She whispers and I blush and hug her tightly,
"I love you too Mary Tudor." I whisper and she smiles,
"Y'know what I like?" She asks and I shrug,
"The sound of Mary Grey." She says and I blush,
"One day." I say and she smiles,
"Okay."
