You felt so out of place in this dress shop, the room had a small red glow to it. Everything was so expensive, not to mention by the way the cashiers were talking and up selling, this was a place meant for people like Dimitri and Carmen. People who actually had money to spend.

You sighed, "Carmen I'm not so sure-" His face held a strong annoyance and you curled in on yourself. "I am not." He paused to convey his seriousness. "Letting you back out of this, you need this! And you need to get laid! Please Y/n for once in your lif-" You put your hand on his mouth to stop him. "Okay shut up. Let's find a decent one though."

The two of you sifted through dresses upon dresses, Dimitri grunting at them every so often. You finally found one you liked, it was a little below your knee but it had a slit in the side, it was sleeveless but came to cover your neck in the slightest. Dimitri's eyebrows furrowed as he checked his watch and he shook his head with an short chuckle.

"No, love. Do you know where we're going? We are going to a place where men and women pay an individual to look sexy so they can show you off. You need more of you to show. Especially if you want to seal a deal." He gave an encouraging wink your way and quickly delved into the rack of clothing. He found one easily, tossing it to Carmen with a smirk. "Actually you should be looking around too, sexy." He playfully smacked your roommates ass and you tried your hardest to hold in your eye rolls.

Hustling to get away from their giggles and chuckles you walk towards the dressing rooms. This was a good opportunity for you, you thought. You could use the money for things that are good, like charity donations or hospitals. Something to make yourself not feel as dirty. You were a little upset at yourself when adrenaline came with the previous thought. To be doing something dirty or what you feel is a little wrong, you didn't want to admit it excited you.

With your eyes trained on the ground, thoughts clouding your brain you hadn't noticed the large man you were about to run right into. You collided with a hard chest and tumbled back a little, his big callous hands wrapping themselves around your bicep to keep you from falling. He had long hair and dimples on his cheeks as he smiled at you. "So sorry ma'am, would you like any help with that?" He pointed down at the dress and helped you find your balance.

"Oh uhm, do you work here?" The man chuckled and swept back some of the hair out of his face. "No but I thought I could be of some help, as a sorry for running into someone so beautiful." You blushed furiously. Usually you'd be angry at a comment like that, you hated being catcalled. "O-oh no thank you sir, i-ive got it." His eyes swept over your face with a dangerous smirk, he stared and you waited. It was hard moving from him, like he was daring you too but you couldn't think of a reason why you would. He was handsome, gorgeous hazel eyes.

Being knocked from your thoughts once again, another man, maybe an inch or so shorter than the first, came and patted him on the shoulder. "We gotta go Sa-" The new male stopped his speech as he laid his eyes on you. You couldn't help but watch the way his adam's apple bobbed as he gulped, you were seeing some emotion flash across his features but you were too intimidated to look him in the eyes.

He seemed to shake himself out of it, "Sorry to interrupt but my friend and I have some business to attend to. Have a good day ma'am." He nodded at you and pulled his companion out of the store a bit forcefully. How were they both so handsome and still looking at you like that. You couldn't deny it felt good, and you were now getting pretty excited for the nights events. Hopefully there were as mysteriously handsome men at the masquerade as there were in this pornstar like dress shop.

Shaking off the new heat that had blossomed within you, you walked to the nearest dressing room. You hurriedly threw off your jeans and t-shirt before slipping the dress on. There was silk material form fitting to your chest and hips, and lace exposed some of your stomach between it. The straps on the dress were thin and the cleavage that it had revealed would hopefully not be a problem later in the night. Although the dress was absolutely more showing than the previous, Dimitri has a well trained eye. The dress fit all your love into it and you looked gorgeous.

As you went out with the fit on, Carmen gasped. "Damn if I wasn't gay I wouldn't be able to handle myself." He fanned himself slightly. "Let's buy it and get a mask to match for tonight." You had to remember to thank Dimitri for his help and his kindness. He was a pretty good guy. Maybe Carmen was right about some of the people in that community.

Later in the car Dimitri was giving a run down on how it would go and who you should stay away from. "Some of the guests wont have a mask on, those are the people who aren't looking for anyone, they'll usually have someone on their arm so they're easy to spot. I've known alot of these men for a long time and most of them you're way too good for." He paused for a moment to look at you in the rearview mirror.

"Remember that and stay close to me and Carmen. I've been around the block with these guys and not all of them mean well." He didn't meet your eyes as he spoke the last part and a new fear bubbled within your chest.

You had gotten a gorgeous mask just before you set sail home, the design had jewels that dangled from your cheeks and cheekbones. The lace that framed your eyes matched perfectly with your dress, and you couldn't keep your eyes off of yourself. With the warnings you've received from
