【 Jungkook 】

After what had felt like forever, the lecture was finally dismissed as everyone was able to properly do the Lumos spell, and so you began to pack up your books and notes before getting up as you were set on quickly heading out

Jimin: Hey Koo where are you hurrying off to? The match will start any minute now!

You gulped as you turned towards him smiling lightly as you scratched the back of your head

Jungkook: Oh I just need to go to the library to find something I lost real quick...

He chuckled and reached up ruffling your hair playfully, flashing you a bright smile as he nodded

Jimin: Alright well hurry up, meet me down at the basketball court when you're done. My friend is playing today and you promised you'd let me introduce you two!

You nodded and waved whilst letting out a ''I'll be there, don't worry!'' before hurrying out of the classroom, making your way down the hallway and then up the stairs towards the library in a hurry

Once you got there you carefully walked around trying to find a specific book section

Jungkook: It has to be here somewhere... ah there!

After finally finding the shelf section containing all the books related to wands, spells, and their history, you instantly began going through books that sounded like they potentially could have the topics and answers you were looking for.

But as time passed by, you couldn't help but sigh softly as by now you've scanned through almost half the books there were in this section, yet to no avail, you were about to give up and leave so you wouldn't keep Jimin waiting any longer than you already had

Though suddenly your eyes landed on an unnamed book that was hidden away in a corner, so you hesitantly reached up and took it down from the shelf before carefully beginning to skim through its pages whilst leaning against the bookshelf.

Jungkook: Please have something... Anything even remotely close to an answer or hint... Please-

You flipped another couple of pages forward and widened your eyes as you began reading through a section that talked about the usage of wands and the phenomenon of using a wand without any powers, the area you were in was a tad bit dark due to a broken light so you swiftly took out your wand from your pocket whispering out a ''lumos'' whilst giving it a gentle flick and pointing your wand towards the book helping you illuminate the page and see everything more clearly as you quietly read it out loud to yourself

Jungkook: '...while the chances of someone with no powers using and performing spells with a wand seem frankly absurd and impossible, theres have been few rare reports in which it has been done successfully...'

'..yet to identify how it's been possible..'

'.. possibly linked to how powerful the wand itself is and the determination of the person holding the wand..'

'However... It is possible.'

You flinched and widened your eyes closing the book quickly as you could've sworn you heard light footsteps followed by something close to you fall onto the ground, and after looking around not seeing anyone you swiftly placed the book back onto the shelf and hurried off hoping no one had seen you.

The sound of a book hitting the ground behind you being heard as you ran off leaving the library.
