Taehyung stood beside you as you hesitantly typed in your code, unlocking the door to your dorm before you both headed inside, and as you began to pack the essentials you would be needing into a duffle bag

There was a somewhat tense silence between the both of you as he tried to help out by neatly folding the clothes you had picked out into the bag, though he soon broke that silence as he turned towards you

Taehyung: Hey I'm sorry I suddenly disappeared earlier today after we found out about the post... I honestly just got so mad and I needed to go cool off so I wouldn't start yelling at everyone in the cafeteria...

A soft smile painted your lips as you shook your head reassuringly, closing the now full duffle bag as the heavy guilt kept weighing down your heart

Jungkook: You don't have to apologize, I just wish they would've only targeted me and not involved you and Nari...

He gently grabbed ahold of your shoulder and turned you towards him, looking down into your eyes as he shook his head

Taehyung: We'll find whoever did this okay?

You sighed softly but nodded nonetheless, letting out a soft ''I hope so...'' before looking around your place one more time to make sure you got everything you needed.

| Later...

After a somewhat silent car ride with the music from the radio being the only thing breaking that silence, Taehyung finally pulled up in front of his parent's house as he parked his car in the driveway

A shaky sigh left your lips as you bit your bottom lip nervously, feeling your stomach twist in guilt whilst you hesitantly stepped out of the car, watching as Taehyung took out your bag from the backseat and helped you carry it

He walked up to you and tilted his head in slight confusion, nudging you gently as he uttered out a soft ''What are you waiting for, let's go inside'', though you slowly looked up at him as you spoke hesitantly

Jungkook: Can I just... Stay at a public sauna or a cheap motel instead?

A displeased sigh left his lips as he reached down and ruffled your hair, keeping his hand on your shoulder whilst looking into your eyes

Taehyung: No that's not safe, we don't know who's doing all of this. So until then, you're safe here with us

Before you had a chance to say anything more, he suddenly grabbed ahold of your hand before making you follow him inside, and once the door opened you were immediately greeted by Nari excitedly running up to the two of you, immediately being picked up by Taehyung earning a cheerful giggle from her

Nari: Grandma, Grandpa! Appa and Jungkookie are home!!!

He smiled warmly as he kissed her cheek and whispered out a ''Missed you princess'' before putting her back down, she then turned to you and pulled on your sleeve to get your attention, so you crouched down and smiled warmly as she gave you a big hug

Nari: Grandpa said that appa said you will be staying with us!

After briefly glancing up at Taehyung and seeing him reassuringly nod, you turned back towards Nari and slowly nodded as you gently fixed her hair, making her squeal out a happy ''Yay!'' before running off to continue whatever she was doing earlier

So you took off your shoes and headed inside with Taehyung, only to stop in your tracks as his mom came up to you both

MrsKim: Oh you're here!

Upon seeing her, you couldn't stop yourself from tearing up as you lowered your head shamefully, letting out a broken ''I'm s-sorry..'' whilst sniffling, instantly earning a surprised gasp from Mrs.Kim gasped as she came up to you and pulled you into a warm comforting hug

MrsKim: Oh dear-... Don't apologize, what are you apologizing for sweetie?

You bit your quivering bottom lip as you looked into her eyes while Taehyung gently wiped your tears away

Jungkook: B-because of me-... Your son and Nari are in danger... A-and now I'm staying here and possibly putting you guys in danger as well..

Suddenly Mr.Kim whom you didn't notice walk into the room up until now, spoke up while looking at you

MrKim: Apologise when you do something wrong, not when someone else does kiddo. Son help him get settled in and join us downstairs when you're done

Taehyung wrapped his arm around your shoulder and nodded, and his dad flashed you the same boxy smile Taehyung has before walking off.

Taehyung: Follow me, I'll show you to our room

You wiped your tears before slowly trailing behind him as he led you upstairs and to his room, and upon entering the bedroom you looked around in admiration, a faint smile creeping onto your lips as you saw some pictures here and there of him as a kid with what looks like Jin and Namjoon by his side

Jungkook: You guys have been friends for a long time huh?

He chuckled and nodded as he helped you unpack your things into the empty section that had been made for you inside the closet

Taehyung: Yeah, we've known each other for as long as I could remember. And they were there for me and helped me keep going back when my sister passed away suddenly, so I truly owe them a lot

The soft smile never left your lips as you gently touched one of the frames showing Taehyung, Jin, and Namjoon on their high school graduation day, and your breath hitched as Taehyung came up behind you whilst humming softly, his arm suddenly wrapping around your lower waist automatically as he spoke

Taehyung: Do you want to change clothes first or shall we head back downstairs?

He looked down into your eyes as you turned around to face him, finally being able to see that same warm and comforting smile on his lips as you hummed softly, rubbing your arm shyly whilst looking up into his eyes

Jungkook: No I'm okay like this... Let's go.

You both made your way back downstairs as soon as you noticed Mrs.Kim carrying a tray of snacks and tea, you swiftly hurried over to her side gently took the tray out of her hands, helping her carry everything to the living rooms coffee table which earned a grateful and warm smile from her as she patted your shoulder 

MrsKim: Oh you didn't have to do that sweetie, thank you

A warm smile painted your lips as you let out a soft ''No worries'', though hummed softly as Mr.Kim crouched down and picked up what turned out to be your wand that seemingly had fallen onto the floor without you noticing, his facial expressions turning from a relaxed and calm one to a shocked and almost unreadable one as he looked at you

MrKim: Is this.. your wand Jungkook?

You nodded slowly as you watched him scan the wand in disbelief, and Taehyung walked up to you and wrapped his arm around your waist whilst tilting his head in confusion at his dads behavior

Taehyung: Dad, is there something wrong?

He slowly sat down on the couch as he looked at his wife and then back at your wand

MrKim: Sit down and I'll explain...
