Midzys! we came back again with a new album called IT'z ME, our title track being called Wannabe, showing yet another concept for ourselves yeorobun!

with the previous eras, we've tried and learned accepting ourselves, believing in ourselves, and now we'll all be learning to love ourselves the way we are.

IT'z ME itself is the concept, like u're saying that this is me and i am fine with the way i am. so basically, the album have 7 songs and 3 different versions of colors to choose from but if u want all of them then buy everything. but seriously, one is enough if u don't have much funds; we're not requiring u to buy, just being a Midzy is more than enough for us.

Wannabe is the title track, pertaining to one wanting to be their selves instead of letting others control them to be like this or that. the lyrics 'i don't wannabe somebody, just wannabe me' tells that exactly. the mv also shows that as scenes of the characters performed by us were shown.

That's A No No is the rest of the group's favorite, meaning not letting people cross that line of your personal boundary or bubble. it's telling u that it's okay to disagree or say no when people tries and bring u down.

and Nobody Like You is my favorite song. if u look at the lyrics, it's like a song of appreciation to someone u like but we made this for Midzys really.  our Midzys are precious that's why we love them so much. ok sure, maybe we did relate to the song considering we have girlfriends hehe.

that's just 3 out of 7 songs that we enjoyed recording and dancing to. yes, Wannabe isn't the only one with a dance choreography.

coming back with a deeper message to help Midzys and other people love all of themselves is amazing and exciting for us but sadly, a pandemic has occurred and all of us must follow and obey the guidelines to stay healthy and safe.

Covid-19 was just a small news not long ago but was still scary according to health professionals and organizations. as much as it is scary and dangerous, we have no choice but to endure and go on. besides the fact that we'll still be promoting and far away from our families, it's sad for us not to see and meet Midzys in person, not even at the comeback stage.

we had like more or less 4 weeks worth of promotion and schedule yet not once did we saw or interact with a Midzy even if we or they don't have the virus.

it's hard for everyone, especially for those who have a life outside or jobs, like us. because even the slightest or tiniest contact u have with people could possibly infect u and get quarantined for observation and medication.

it's hard adjusting to the situation to adapt the so called 'new normal', knowing that we're just doing this to be safe and not willingly staying at home everyday and avoiding every human possible to interact or be in contact with u.

however, Midzys all around the world never forget to cheer and support us from wherever they are. they are our motivation and gems.

this Wannabe era, the members think that i fit 'this' the best, especially after my shoulder dance part gained a lot of attention.

Midzys have been asking about that so they can try and practice it, so i gave a quick short and brief tutorial on how do i use my shoulders like crazy.

little did they know, it was actually Yeji unnie's part and her part now was mine. we changed parts before the recording day.

but hey, we've both nailed our parts. i got recognized for my shoulder dance part and Yeji unnie as well for her la la la part. Ryeji wins.

but of course, even tho we got a lot as in loads of support and praises from Midzys and other fandoms or idols, it doesn't stop there.

just because we achieved that, we trended that, or something; doesn't mean that we'll stop working hard to improve more and give better performances and a better us, in general.

we are grateful for those who appreciates us for who we are or what we are on cam or off cam, it makes us happier to present as ITZY as time goes by.

i hope that Midzys will love their selves for who and what they are because like our song, we are perfect when we are ourselves.

and when u do love urself, who knows? maybe next time we have a comeback we're teaching u another thing, so watch out for that and be safe!
