Hey this is just a little authors note to introduce the characters and say hello and how I'm going to go about writing this story. All the characters of the show are there of course and the main characters are Rafe and a girl named Ashton. This story is set after the disappearance of John B and Sarah so they aren't in the story but they are mentioned quite a bit. I know some people get frustrated because some fan fics aren't realistic to the show and this is one of those, so if you don't like those feel free to not read this.
I don't know how often I'll be writing, but I'll try to do it as often as possible because I am in school right now, but since I don't have too much work I'm sure I can do it pretty often. At the end of every chapter I will leave an authors note asking questions to see if any of you guys have recommendations for later in the story, and keeping y'all updated on if I have future chapters ready and when they'll go up. When I do authors notes I will always write in italics so you can know the difference.
This story will be mentioning drugs, alcohol, and abandonment, so if any of those trigger you I would consider reading with caution or not reading at all.
I know where this story is going to end and based on how well it does I will write a second story to this one. So I hope you guys enjoy and make sure to leave comments to give me ideas on things to add to the story as it goes on.
