Christian and I were sitting on his couch in his Miami apartment on an off-day before their next home series.
"So, your mom messaged me on Instagram yesterday." He turns to look at me, wide-eyed.
"Oh boy. What did she say?" I chuckle.
"Nothing bad. She just wants to meet your mystery girl ASAP." I poke his cheek with a smile. He returns the smile.
"Well that would depend on how long you are gonna stay down here for. We have the all-star break in July." I nod.
"All-star break would work." I smile.
"Sounds like a plan, I'll let her know." He smiles. "How long do you plan on staying down here for?"
"Well my softball season doesn't start until January and my dad has enough farm help until mid-August so probably until mid-August." I look him in the eyes, gosh there gorgeous. "As long that's okay with you though." He smiles wide.
"That is perfectly fine with me." He grabs my face and pulls me in for a kiss. "I love you." He says as he pulls away. I stare at him, shocked at what he just said. "Shit, I didn't mean to say that. I mean I do mean it. I just - I didn't want to say it know. Gosh I am an idiot. I'm sorry if I -" I grab his face and kiss him to shut him up.
"You need to stop rambling. This is the second time you've rambled with me." His cheeks turn a light shade of red. I kiss his lips once more. "I love you too." He smiles and pulls me into his chest.
"Thank god. I thought I totally fucked that up." I laugh.
"Relax. You aren't getting rid of me that easy."
"You're damn right. You're staying in my life as long as possible." I smile into his chest and wrap my arm around his torso. He kisses the top of my head and wraps his left arm around my waist and we watch movies for the rest of the night.
