You always smile
like you're about to cry,
and you always laugh
like you're about to die.You never let your tears go,
never let what you feel inside come out.
You always keep your smile on,
and your cheeks stay in a constant drought. And you look like you're afraid to live,
but also afraid to die.
You walk past without saying hello,
and always look ready for goodbye. You always smile,
but not with your eyes.
You always smile,
and you never cry.But I can see straight through you.
I might not know what you hide,
but I know that you're not okay,
and I know that you are tired.Maybe I can't help you,
but please just let me try.
I just wanted to tell you,
it's always okay to cry.I will be your shoulder,
and I can lend you my ear.
I just ask you to remember,
there is no judgement here.
