I'm Joohyun a doctor.
Lisa is a soldier.

We've been together for almost five years.
Our relationship isn't easy.
We both have hectic schedules on our jobs.
But I'm happy because despite it all we're still together.

We are about to celebrate our fifth anniversary.
But she has a sudden mission.
And I have a sudden operation.

“Let's save lives?” she asked.
“Let's save lives.” I whispered.

That's our jobs.

After the operation I took a rest.
I checked my phone but there's no message from her.
I can't stop worrying whenever she's on a mission.

I stood up when the doctors are rushing to the ER.
I froze when I heard her name.
My knees are trembling when I saw her lying on our hospital bed.

Lifeless.

I immediately do my job.
I won't let her die.
I never failed. I can do this.
I have to save her!

“It's too late.” I heard my co-doctor whispered. I didn't listen. I continued until my knees fell on the floor. I feel so weak.

I-I couldn't save her.

I glanced at her pocket. There's something inside it. When I grabbed it, I bursted in tears.
