Ugh after getting fired from my job I should probably start looking for a new one it's extremely annoying but we cant live here without getting some type of income.
Ava still doesn't have a job either so it's up to me to find a job!
And that means it's time to go find some resumes or little odd jobs like babysitting or walking dogs!
...yay...
Anyways I'll go grab a bunch of resumes for me and Ava then just bring them back to the apartment, right now I'm 100% sure Ava is sleeping so I won't bother to wake her up instead I'll text her so when she goes on her phone later she'll see where I am if I'm not back by then.
I get dressed in a striped sweater and some black leggings and head out
"WHERE ARE YOU GOING PRISONERRR" Asch screams like every day
"I'm going out! And no you guys cannot come it's something I need to do alone!" I say
"Well whatever then!...not like I care.." he mumbled the last part
"Okay have fun if anything goes wrong wake Ava up!" I wave bye and walk to the mall to get us some resumes
Time skip bc I'm freaking lazy :p
10 stores gave me resumes so I'm sure me and Ava will be able to get a job.
Suddenly I felt my phone ring in my pocket
"Hello?" I asked
"Y/n! Where are you right now?!" The frantic voice on the other line was undoubtedly Ava
"I'm getting stuff resumes and stuff why what's the matter?" I asked
"I have to babysit Mrs. Oats granddaughter and I can't babysit her and the boys and Liz come home pleaseeee" she seems desperate so I guess I'll head home now
"Okay don't worry I'll be on the way home in a couple of minutes so don't fret just keep them busy for a little longer" I say and hang up
Time skip the final one for now
I finally get back to the apartment and walk in
"Second grade happened!" I hear the adorable voice of Marlene mrs.Oats granddaughter.
"Hello?" I asked showing myself
"Y/n! You got here at just the right time! You and Ava both need the best of the best so come on while I train these demons!" She yelled
Wait did she say demons?!
"M-Marlene?! Can I at least get a hug first before you do anything" I say trying to distract her
"Okay! But NO ONE moves!" She yelled running over towards me then running back quickly
"Now listen up! We're going to play a game called princesses and waiters" Marlene states
"Huh?" Ava makes a noise
"What game is that Marlene?" I asked
"You boys are the waiters and me, Ava, this girl and Y/n are the Princesses, the two that can do all the tasks required gets to marry Ava and Y/n!" She explains
"This girl.." Liz says as Marlene doesn't know her name yet
"Yahoo!"
"Yay"
"Finally"
"I'm glad we finally get some progress on the marriage talk"
The boys exclaimed their happy noises
"Marlene you don't know what you're talking about.." Ava says
"Relax girls I'm getting us a spa day" Marlene says
"A spa day?" Liz asked
"She just means the girls get a day off Liz" I giggled looking at the boys as Marlene tells them all what to do.
We then went onto doing so many things cookies and games and more cookies it was pretty funny to see the boys getting bossed around by a kid.
"Now here comes the beautiful brideeeee" Marlene starts it off
"Princess!!" Liz continues
"Ava!!" I finished it off
Then Ava walks out on our beautiful toilet paper dress
Ah I'm so glad we convinced Marlene to only pick one beautiful toilet bride
"The winner is Noi!" She says
I'm glad I already told Liz this was a game or she would most likely be heartbroken
The boys start to go crazy about not marring Ava so then we tell them it was a game
"So all of that was for nothing!" Leif asked very loudly
"Yup! But that shows how much you guys love her so that's nice to know and I'm sure she likes to know that too" Marlene says
"At least we got to prove to Ava that we can take care of children and..." then all the boys fall asleep
"Whoaaa" Marlene says wide eyed
"Hehe now we best be quiet they did work hard for us today alrighty!" I whispered giving Marlene a head pat
She then yawns and says she wants to take a nap too so we bring her into Avas room and get her settled
We walk into the living room and look around I see Liz has also passed out beside Noi
"Heh you know for all their stupid gloating they do about being powerful and deadly worriers they really can't keep up with an 8 year old" I giggled
"That's true they did a good job, now can we get this off of meee" Ava wines
"Ava it's so pretty thoughhh!" We continue to argue about her pretty dress until the end of the day.
