I woke up in a unfamiliar environment,I looked around and didn't recognize where I was so I got up but was stopped by arm wrapped around me then it hit me ,Xavier abusing me and Nathan helping me I didn't realize I was crying until I heard a voice
"Crystal why are you crying" Nathan asked
"Nothing I think something entered my eye"
"Really" he said amused
"Yeah"
"Let me check it" he said as he leaned towards me planting a kiss on my eyes then went down to my lips which I responded to but I pushed him softly
"I'm sorry but " I said but he cut me short
"Please don't say it was a mistake because it wasn't, I like you Crystal and I mean it" Nathan said but I didn't respond
"You love him don't you" he continued but I didn't respond
I didn't know what was happening to me,I met Nathan like a week ago but I feel like I have known him my entire life but i don't understand what I feel for Xavier anymore but I can't change the fact that we have to get married but I would never forgive him for what he did
"Crystal are you okay" Nathan asked
"Yes I'm fine just having this crazy headaches"
"I'll go get the painkillers for you" he said as he brought tablet and a cup of water
"Thanks" I said as I took the drug
"Crystal I'm not forcing you to love me but I care about you and I don't want to see you hurt" Nathan said with hurt in his eyes
"Nathan I have no choice,our families arranged for us to get married and I can't do anything about it"I said tearing up
"I don't love him,not after what he did" Nathan hugged me
"Crystal there must be something I can do"
"I don't want you to get hurt so I will keep my distance from you" I said looking into Nathan's eyes as I left his room and headed for the door
"No no you can't do that" Nathan said as he pulled me to him
"I care about you so much Nathan but this is for the best" I said as I leaned to him and kissed him with so much passion that caused butterflies to flutter in my stomach
"Goodbye Nathan" I said as I left his house
