I arrived at the hospital and dialed Kevin's number
"Hello sis" he said as I broke down in tears
"What's wrong" he asked but I felt like I was tongue tied
"Please what's going on" his voice laced with concern
"Nathan is in the hospital,I'm scared to go in I lost my parents like this. I love him so much,I'm so scared Kelvin " I sobbed
"He needs you now more than ever,you have to give him reason to fight for his life. Go see him and be the strong woman you are. It's already so late I wish I was there with you sis" he said
"What will I do without you" I smiled in between cries
"Absolutely nothing " he joked
"So what hospital again"
"Redstone hospital" I said
"I will see you tomorrow sis" he said as he hung up
I left the car and walked to the receptionist who told me Nathan room number. I entered the elevator and got to his floor,I stood outside his room scared to enter but a doctor came out and I saw him on the bed and my heard broke as I started sobbing
"Nathan" I cried as I was shaking him
"I'm so sorry"
"Please wake up, don't do this to me" I cried
"I need you I can't cope without you Nathan"
"I love you so much" I said as I kissed his lips and sat on the chair by his side
"Ma'am are you miss Crystal" the doctor in his mid 40s asked
"Yes I am doctor" I asked
"I'm doctor Ben" he said as he extended his hand for a handshake
"How is he doing doctor" I said
"He is recovering,he was almost gone when he was brought here but we were able to stabilize him. He just has to stay for sometime to ensure he has no internal bleeding and he has been sedated so he may be asleep for a while" the doctor smiled
"Thank you so much doctor" I said
"If you notice any changes in the patient please notify me or the nurses" he said as he left
I took Nathan's hand and kissed it
"Please wake up baby" I said as I rested my head on his bed and drifted off
