I felt a hand on my face,I jumped quickly thinking it was Nathan but it was kelvin
"Hey sis" he said as I wrapped my arms around him
"Thank you for coming,I needed someone right now" I smiled as I looked at Nathan
"You have some explanation to do Crystal,I thought you were with Xavier but you said you were in love with Nathan yesterday" I sighed
"I'll brief you on what's happening"
"I'm all ears"
"So my parents and Xavier's parents arranged for us to get married but I kind of fell in love with Nathan" he looked like he was in deep thoughts
"So what happens now" he said with concern in his eyes
"I can leave the contract, Susan told me how we can't get married if we don't love each other,I can't be with someone who abuses me emotionally and physically" I said tearing up
"What do you mean physically" kelvin was absolutely furious
"Xavier hit me when he found out I started hanging out with Nathan and followed him home" I said looking in his eyes
"You have to leave that house now,who knows what he will do to you when he finds out you are in love with him" he said pointing to Nathan
"I know,I just need to stay with Nathan for now"
"I'm happy you have someone like Nathan,he is a good guy" Kelvin smiled
"I'm happy too " I said as I held onto Nathan's hand

Five days have passed and no new changes on Nathan, I have taken a break from work to stay by his side but everything is still as it was.
I decided to take a nap before I go eat lunch when I heard him
"Crystal"
"Crystal" I rubbed my eyes to look only to be meet by his
"Nathan you're awake" I hugged him tight
"I thought I lost you,I'm so sorry I left I didn't mean anything I said" I felt cold lips on mine,the kiss was slow with lots of emotions in it,we deepened the kiss as my hands brushed his hair but he pulled away
"Are you okay?" I asked trying to hide the rejection
"Yeah I just need to rest" he turned away
"Do you want me to leave" I asked worried about his response
"Yes I think that's best" tears threatening to spill,I couldn't believe my ears
" Why?" I said
"Did I do something wrong" I continued
"No baby,I want you to rest you look wornout and weak. I don't want to be a burden to you, I appreciate you taking care of me but you need to rest" he smiled as he sat up
"I can't rest knowing you are still here,I'm okay with taking care of you" I said
"I don't deserve you" he stated
"Me neither" I said as I kissed his lips
