Although he was then aware of his arriving flowers, the sound of his doorbell ringing as soon as he set down his phone caught him by surprise.
Yoongi opened his door in time to catch the back of some random guy — the friend Jimin mentioned, he figured — jump back into his car and drive away.
He glanced down at the bundle of flowers placed on his mat and picked it up.
They were all different shades of pink and yellow, and Yoongi had to agree they were quite pretty.
Closing the door behind him as he headed back inside, he scanned over the folded piece of paper taped to the tied-up flowers.
'Yoongi!! :D My cousin has a fancy garden in her backyard, and invited me yesterday to pick some flowers! I was planning on buying you some from a nearby flower shop anyway, but she suggested and I saw these and thought they were really pretty. Reminds me of you, hehe! Happy Valentine's Day!'
He couldn't help but grin. His boyfriend was adorable.
His smile only widened — even his cheeks flared a bit — when his eyes flicked down and caught the last sentence spaced a little from the rest.
