I tried my best but I am not very confident about this chapter. I am sorry.

Chan almost ran through the door of his company. His car broke down and it took him forty-five minutes to make it back to the company for Hyunjin. He had heard what happened in detail from Felix on a phone call and he could not be more worried for him. He has been with Hyunjin through everything but never in the world had Hyunjin reacted like that. Even while breaking down, Hyunjin never went violent.

The boy felt like it was his fault for not being there for Hyunjin, he could've stopped him easily. The younger was an emotional mess. He has always feared about people knowing what happened between Minhyuk and him. It must have been hard for him to cope up with the fact that everybody knew about the message.

Moreover, Jisung also told him about how anxious Hyunjin was and how bad he was shaking. The boy just had a panic attack which made him lose his consciousness and this second session was just too bad for his health. Hyunjin needed him badly and Chan knew that. He just wants to hold the younger within his arms and tell him everything is gonna be alright.

Chan just knew how bad Hyunjin must be feeling right now. He loved and cared for Jisung sincerely, he never intended to do something like that. It all just happened in the moment. He felt bad knowing that he left Hyunjin all alone in the time the younger needed him the most. He got late because of his stupid car which broke down out of nowhere.

He tapped his foot continuously as the elevator moved up towards his floor. He did not even care about the employees who said their greetings, something he won't ever do. He felt nervous as hell. He had a bad feeling about Hyunjin, about how messed up the younger would be right now all alone in a bathroom. He wanted to be there for him as fast as he could.

Chan let out a sigh of relief when the elevator dinged and slid open. He quickly ran towards his office but stopped when he saw a red envelope hanging with a thread on the doorknob. His brows furrowed in confusion. Who would leave an envelope for him like this?

He carefully rolled the thread around his finger before pulling on it to break it, his other hand on the envelope to hold it at one place. The envelope wasn't very big but it was not very light as well. He did not even think about opening the envelope. Whatever it was, it could wait. Hyunjin was his priority and the envelope can be opened later.

Chan quickly turned the doorknob and entered his office only to find pitch black darkness everywhere. There was no light in the room except for the city lights that came through the gap between the curtains that covered the windows.
"Hyunjin!" He almost yelled out, his feet quickly moving towards the switchboard to turn on the lights. Fear slowly started to crept up inside him when he got no reply.

"Hyunjin?" Chan said again after he switched on the lights. His heart almost stopped for a second when he saw Hyunjin sitting down on the ground near the couch such that his back was rested against the couch. For a second, he thought that the younger was unconscious as his body was making no movement but his eyes were open. Hyunjin was just sitting there on the ground, his legs folded against his chest.

The elder almost ran towards him but stopped when Hyunjin scurried away from him a little.
"Hyunjin?" Chan whispered; his brows furrowed in confusion as to why Hyunjin flinched away from him. Why was his own husband scared of him?
"What's wrong?" Chan asked, not understanding his behaviour.
