How I wish I could go back in time.
To right my wrongs,
Avoid the bad, and embrace the good.
I wish to talk to the friends I had,
And to derail the meetings of my enemies.
To help comfort my friends better.
I wish to have his love again,
To have words warm my heart and soul.
To never have caused our tragic end.
I wish to be happy again
To be free from this dark void.
And have a real smile each day.
I wish I couldn't feel the pain
I wish to stop the overflow of tears,
And no longer drown in this dark abyss.
I wish to erase the memories
So I don't remember the dark times
The ones that haunt me day and night. . .
But you have to be careful what you wish for.
For all of your wishes could come true.
And once the wish is granted, there's no way to go back to the way it was.
