3. this story is loosely based around my experiences. i don't have daddy issues and i've never been in an abusive relationship. this is based off my research, my friend's and family's experience, and my feelings towards my family and former toxic relationships. if you think something is wrong or offensive, please let me know and i'll edit it/take it out.

5. the name of the toxic boyfriend in this book is named kentarō, but he IS NOT mad dog (kyotani kentarō). this kentarō is an oc of mine and isn't in high school.
