I stare at Arabella and try not to roll my eyes. It was so stupid how shy she was when it came to Vincenzo.

We all get that you have a boyfriend who would die for you. I don't understand why she's always getting into fights with him. And it's for the stupidest reasons.

"Have you spoken to him ever since last night?" I ask, attempting to break the silence.

She shakes her head and continues to stare out the window. I sigh, frustrated from her childish behaviour.

I get up and walk to where Vincenzo is sitting. I cough trying to grab his attention. His gaze doesn't move from his laptop but still manages to say, "Can I help you, Amelia?"

As attractive this man is, he sure has a bad personality. "How about you go talk to her? Always fighting with her isn't going to allow your relationship to grow." I advice.

Finally, he looks up at me and sighs. "Fine. So you can stop talking to me." He stands up and walks over to her.

"Your friend is really stupid. Why are you two even friends? You're polar opposites."

He just smiles and looks at him. "He saved my sister and has been my best friend ever since. I've got his back and he's got mine." He explains reading papers.

"Well, you must be really patient to be friends with him." I scoff staring at him and Arabella. "How did they even end up together?"

"You had to be there to see them grow." He smiles smugly.

I roll my eyes at him. As much as I wanted her to be happy, I don't think she could truly be happy with him. I watch him smile at her as he kisses her cheek. Sure they're cute but.

"Maybe you're jealous." Luca shrugs, finishing my initial thought.

I glare at him. "Why would I want Vincenzo?"

He sighs and puts the papers on his laps. "No. You're jealous because Arabella is in a better relationship than you." He explains.

It's less of jealousy and more of envy. The truth is, I did envy Arabella. The fact that everyone seemed to like her without her even trying. The fact that she made everyone stare including my boyfriends. The fact that she's drop-dead gorgeous. And the fact that she's the most caring person ever. She's literally perfect and I hate it.

"I'm not jealous of Arabella." I lie turning the other way.

"You have a pretty cool friend." Jaylen said with a smirk.

"Yeah, she's alright." She shrugged watching Arabella talk to a teacher.

She quickly noticed her best friend's boyfriend checking her 14-year-old self out and shifted her eyes back to the board.

"Why are you looking at her like that?" She questioned hitting his chest gently.

He looked at her and smirked. "There's nothing wrong with her being prettier than you Lia."

Amelia glared at him and then quickly glared at her best friend. Arabella sensed her eyes on her back and turned around to look at her.

She rose a brow at her and awkwardly smiled at the angry Amelia, which angered her more.

"Let's go make out at the back of the school." Amelia suggested.

He shook his head. "Not interested." He spoke still glancing at Arabella.

"Fine! I'll give you a blowy." She groaned.

He smirked. "I'll meet you outside in 5 minutes."
