Chapter Forty Seven

"Vincenzo!" I cry out running to him but I'm pulled by my hair. I look back and see thing one holding my hair with a smirk.

"Don't fucking touch her!" He yells walking towards me but is pulled back.

"Let's make something clear to both of you kids. You come close to each other, Vincenzo dies." A deep heartless voice says walking into the room.

I turn around and come face to face with a man I've never seen before. "I've missed you, Adalina." He smiles walking towards me and embracing me for a hug.

"So you're meant to be my father?" I ask, not buying it.

"I was meant to be your father if it wasn't for your slut of a mother." He growls. "I've missed you so much Adalina. Let's not bring up the past. How've you been living with this, figo." He smirks. [Italian Translation: Pussy]

"You can't call me that. You send your men to go kill my family and you call me a pussy? I'll fucking kill you!" He shouts, stomping towards my father.

"You should be tamed like a dog." He speaks, shooting him in the leg.

"Vincenzo!" I yell running towards him trying to rip the handcuffs.

"Relax. He'll recover." My father yawns.

I begin crying looking at the blood leaving his leg.

"Tesoro, don't worry about me. Move away so Giovanni doesn't kill me." He chuckles.

"Get those handcuffs off of her please." Giovanni orders as people began removing my handcuffs.

"You shouldn't have done that, you idiot." I mumble running towards him and slapping him repeatedly on his face. "I resent you, dumbass!" I yell.

I hear footsteps walking towards me. "Non avvicinarti a nio." [Italian Translation: Don't come near us]

The footsteps stop and so do my hands. "Let me and Vincenzo go." I beg.

"Don't you not want to know where you came from?"

I pause signalling him that I wanted to finally know. "You're mother was kind of like you. Quiet, reserved and the biggest temper I knew off. Worse than mine." He chuckles.

I roll my eyes at him. "But I did love her and I think she might have loved me at some point. When I saved her from your dear Vincenzo's father that was trying to use her for ransom. I think she loved me then."

"I guess she met some German man, cheated on me and that resulted in you. Don't bother asking where your mother is. I killed her and her boyfriend so really, I'm the only family you have." He shrugs.

"So why did you dump me in an orphanage?"

"It wouldn't be good for business to know my next heir was a daughter that wasn't even mine." He laughs.

I roll my eyes at him. "Listen, I understand how sad and depressed you are but I don't want to stay with you. In fact, I just want to be with Vincenzo." I address, smiling at a bleeding Vincenzo who smiles back at me.

"If I kill him and everyone else you've acquainted you'll be forced to stay with me." He states pulling out a gun and aiming it at Vincenzo.

"If you kill him, kill me next." I speak and suddenly a bullet is fired.

AHHHHHH!!! DON'T KILL MY BABIESSSS!!! Wait, that's in my control, lol.

No more updates but since this was also a short chapter I'll be updating on Monday. The schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I think that's enough for the week right? But when my second book comes out you won't get 5 chapters per week.
