Chapter Fifty Six

"Did someone call me?" Amelia's voice asks walking into my room.

I rub the back of my neck and realize what this meant. I was planning on stealing Amelia's boyfriend without me even knowing. That makes me a slut and this time it's true so I'm sure she'd hate me.

Well, I'm not going to make the same mistake I made last time. "Amelia, I kissed your boyfriend!" I blurt out.

"Only because she remembered me." Francesco adds. I look at him with a confused look on my face but he isn't looking at me. "She remembers that we used to go out." He finishes.

"Wait!" Amelia exclaims, walking towards me and landing on my bed. "Does this mean you remember Vincenzo? You remember having the biggest crush on him while you were with Francesco?" She questions with a grin.

"Yes. I do." I lie, with an awkward smile. She pulls out her phone and starts aggressively scrolling through it. "What are you doing?" I ask as the phone begins to ring.

"Calling Vincenzo so you can tell him." She responds in a duh tone handing me the phone.

"I don't thi-."

"What do you want Amelia?" His voice says through the phone.

"Oh," I whisper coughing. "Um, it's me. Arabella. Calling you. Amelia wanted me to tell you that I remember you." I chuckle nervously. This lie is going to bite me in the ass.

There's a long pause. "Really?" He asks, suspiciously.

"Yes!" I exclaim dramatically. "I do."

He cuts the call without saying anything.

"He didn't seem too happy." I grunt. He loves me, my ass.

"Vincenzo isn't one for expressing his feelings. You know that since you remember him." Amelia reminds me.

"Yeah, of course, I know that." I smile.

"I'll go get snacks as we wait on him." She sings, skipping out.

"Why would you say that?" I question, once she left the room.

"I didn't want you two fighting." He explains.

"Well, you have a job of teaching everything I should know about Vincenzo."

"Great." He mutters.

I think by the end of the week (Exams are on Monday) Chapter 60 will be out, which is good because the book is almost finished. I know right? It's been a while, lol. You guys will like chapter 60 and don't worry it isn't a cliff hanger.
