Chapter 15- Checkmate?

We starts things off  with Barry who is running into a destroyed DEO base. He falls to the ground from pain. As Barry falls unto his back and he then noticed all the destruction around him as if a bomb went off inside the building. Barry looked to his left and he saw a seemingly unconscious Kara among the rubble with burn marks on her face . He then looked to his left and all he saw was an empty hill of rubble until a hurt Rene walked over the hill and Barry asked him "What happened?" Rene told him "I think we won hoss."

2 hours earlier

We have Allegra and the rest eagerly waiting for Sara's signal. Meanwhile with Lex, Nora, John Constantine, Nate, Ava, Sara and Ray

"Alright now we're about to adjust the suits calibrations so our little speedy friend just has to do his  part." Lex told Sara as he tinkered with the suit

"Plus we also have to make the magic cell battery." Ray noted as he held a cylindrical black device that was presumably the magic cell battery

"You know this is all strangely like independence day, besides the whole uploading a virus to alien computers." Nate told everyone

"Well we clearly need more time so Barry has to do his part." Ava told Sara

Sara then activated her com and told Barry "Barry your up!"

We now see that Barry is alone in the cortex and as he heard that Kara entered the cortex in her Supergirl suit. Barry told Sara "Yeah I got it." followed by turning around to be face Kara.

"Hey I kind of need to be at the DEO right now so just makes this quick." Kara told Barry in rush

Barry simply fired back with "I know." Kara was a little confused by this so she asked "Know what?"

The monitors then displayed an article written by Allegra with the autopsy reports of Helena and Curtis. Barry then said "You killed Helena and Curtis! The autopsy reports show that only with your strength level could someone do so much trauma. Why did you do that!"

"Barry, Allegra is lying to you. I didn't do any of this. I mean who are going to trust, me or some wannabe reporter like Allegra" Kara pleaded convincingly

"I gave Allegra that evidence. The Black Racer told me that there is something up with you. The speed force wouldn't lie to me! So let's just work through this." Barry argued

"Barry you have to drop this! The world needs a strong leader, that's what I want to be. People just hate the word tyrant." Kara told Barry with anger she then continued with " You and I give people hope. What's so wrong about taking that a bit further?"

"It's not our place or role and I can't let you do that!" Barry told her

"Really? What going to do? Stop me? You can't do anything without Cisco or Caitlin telling you what to do!" Kara told Barry

"At least the people I love don't constantly leave me!" Barry told her harshly

Kara was enraged by Barry's statement so she blasted him with heat vision. Barry dodged it and used his flash ring to put his suit on.

"Why are you wasting your time. I've always been faster than you." Barry told her in an attempt to anger Kara

"I have super strength, heat vision and so much more. The only thing you have, are some fast legs." Kara told Barry afterward they started fighting. Although it was mainly Barry running around with Kara trying to catch him. Right now they've passed every room within Star labs.
