Chapter 34 [HB]

"Don't touch him!" You screeched when a nurse tried to take the baby from you.

Your baby... Takeo was here, in your arms, and you weren't letting him go.

"Sunshine they have to..." Keigo was next to you, obviously concerned.

You had spent the last 24 hours in this hospital and the entire experience was scary. Because even though Keigo was by your side you saw Kai by your side as well. With that twisted grin ready to hurt your baby. You had been crying the whole time. From the hallucinations that had been so vivid. The voice. From the pain. You wouldn't let them give you any pain killers. Even though there was so much pain.

You didn't even want him to come out. Well you did, but your body would not. Doctor Haru had said she suspected your body would reject labor and you wouldn't dilate. All because of the fear engraved into your subconscious about Kai hurting your baby.

So they did an emergency c-section because he wanted to come out and complications were arising. You snapped when they said they had to cut you open. Afraid they would cut the baby. As soon as he was out you demanded him, reaching for him. And despite their better judgment they let you hold him. Yet now they needed to make sure his vitals were okay. To clean him up. Yet you weren't letting him go.

"NO! DON'T! He'll hurt him Keigo. I can't. I have to-" You were, over all, delirious.

From the pain and loss of blood and the psychosis. Your baby boy cried in your arms still in your blood.

"Sunshine..." Keigo's eyes were filled with tears as he tried to reach oh so slowly for Takeo but you flinched away, growling at him.

"No I-" You stared in shock as a nurse grabbed your baby so quickly. Your body reacted before your mind did, moving to go after your child despite the fact you had a gaping hole in your abdomen they were trying to close up. "GIVE HIM BACK!"

Keigo held you back as you sobbed, the second time he had to do that. He covered your face with his wing but you clawed and bit at it, trying to get it out of your way so you could see your baby. You needed your baby.

"He's going to skin him! He's going to rip off his little wings! He'll pop out his eyes! He'll make him cry! Keigo he's going to kill my baby! I need to protect my baby!" You cried as your body went limb, not even noticing the sedative they had given you. That he stabbed into your neck to put you to sleep.

"He's going to-" Your words fell to silence as you collapsed against the bed, the last thing you remember were tears hitting your face.

When you woke you were still very groggy. But it didn't take long to remember where you were or that you had your baby. You tried to sit up only to find that you were cuffed to the hospital bed. You started screaming, yanking at the cuffs and moving around the bed, kicking. Keigo came rushing in along with some security and nurse.

"WHO THE FUCK CUFFED HER?!" Keigo yelled as he rushed over, breaking the cuffs and bringing your now torn wrists to him.

He held them gently but you were still panicking. Hyperventilating.

"Where is he? Where is he?! Where is my baby?! WHERE?!" You looked from the nurses to Keigo with a wild look in your eyes.

"He's safe Sunshine. Takeo is alive and healthy he-"

"Let me see him. I need to- I need to see him." You began to struggle to get up only to feel the pain of your abdomen course through your body.

"I'll have him brought in here okay? You can't move too much you'll undo the-" His breath caught in his throat as he noticed blood on your gown. "Fuck. Get a doctor!" He yelled at one of the bystanders as he pulled you against his chest. Holding you as still as he could. Once again you were sobbing and hyperventilating.
