You had thought about this moment so much since he first asked you the question... Will you marry me? And here you were, walking down the aisle staring at the man at the end.
He wasn't much of a traditional man and you liked that about him. The spunk in his suit and the fur cape that came with it. "I want to look like a King because you make me feel like one." Was what he said when he had showed it to you before. And he did look like a King... One that looked at you as if you were his Queen.
The dress you wore was an off the shoulder long sleeved gown with a lacy back and a bit of a train. Takeo stumbled before you in his little tux that matched his father. Before him was Kira, your maid of honor, and the one of the few people you wanted here.
There were very few people. Your parents, who had recently come up. Your mother holding Kira's daughter Momoko. There were your three little heroes as well: Bakugo, Todoroki and Tokoyami. Even Larren and Allison whom you had reached out to finally. Hawks sidekicks stood around or were sitting down with the others.
You hadn't expected Endeavor and his family. Although the hero sat away from them. And then the detective who had worked your case. Oddly enough Tokoyami was the one standing by Hawks side. His reason for doing so was because... Well...you trusted him.
But none of them really mattered. Just Keigo.
Unable to smile that cheeky smile of his at you, he was Completely awestruck as you stopped before him. Takeo handed off the little box he had been carrying to the man standing next to Hawks -The one who would marry the two of you today- The two of you stood before an arch made of red roses and white lilies. The two flowers that had become your favorite since the first time he brought them to you. The sun shining through the sheer canopy that covered you and the guests present.
A rooftop wedding, how quaint. But it was perfect to you. He was perfect to you.
Before you knew it, you were saying those binding words. "I do." And so was he. The kiss that followed was magical. Like the first time all over again. In that moment there was just him and you and the little boy who was attached to your skirt calling up to you.
"Mommy. Momma. Mama." He tugged at the dress as you pulled away and looked down at him.
Your eyes staring back up at you. "Up?" He had apparently gotten tired of Tokoyami's arms but you expected that. He was used to being in your arms almost 24/7 and only the last month had begun to be held by others. Even if Tokoyami was his other favorite. "Up." He wiggled his little fingers and you obliged, bending down and picking up your baby as the man announced you husband and wife.
You were now Mrs. Takami. The wife to Keigo Takami and the number 2 pro hero Hawks. Looking to your new husband you smiled the brightest you had in such a long time.
Kai was the furthest thing from your mind. His death had been a closure you didn't know you needed. And the fact he had been coming to kill both you and Takeo when Hawks had stopped him had you even more grateful that he was dead. You couldn't bring yourself to read the journals they found of Kai's. The things written in there of what he wanted to do to you. Watching Hawks read one page before throwing it across the room was enough. The anger etched into every bit of his features. The horror. Not even the sight of Hawks covered in Kai's blood had bothered you.
You finally felt free of Kai's grasp. Of the torture, and all the things he had done. Of the voice in your head. Eating and celebrating here with your now husband, and your family, and friends. Your parents who had been struggling with their own health had decided to move back to the city to be a part of Takeo's life. They loved you endlessly and had no idea the pain you went through. You made sure no one else told them either. Your mother babied Takeo while you had your first dance with Hawks. A song he picked. The same song that you two had danced to before while the two of you had cooked together during one of Takeo's naps. This time, it was less goofy. He whispered the words to you as he slowly danced with you, a simple sway in a circle.
The cake was one of your favorite parts. He had gotten it on you first, as quick as he was. But you got him back twice as good when he leaned in to lick it off. His whole left face where his scar was. It reminded you of the one on your wrist. But, well, seeing him with cake smeared on half his face was definitely one of the highlights of the night. So was watching the way Takeo imitated the whole scene with his own cake, smearing it on his face and looking up at you with a big grin.
"Like Dada?" He was becoming more vocal. More social. And he liked to imitate Hawks with a lot of things.
"Keigo get a picture." You elbowed the man next to you who was still cleaning off cake. But instead of a picture he took his cake and smeared it on his face again, both of you watching the way Takeo lit up with laughter. "My boys..." Needless to say many pictures got taken, especially of cake on faces.
Spending the time with Hawks and Takeo wasn't all. You chatted with your parents. You introduced Kira to the others. You watched Takeo fawn over Momoko just like Hawks tended to fawn over him. You were well aware the man in question was talking about only you and Takeo with whomever tried to speak with him. It was one of his favorite pass times. Showing you off (and his son.)
You found yourself looking at your wrist a lot. Where the scars were. It hurt, just a bit, but you could smile at them. Maybe it was just today, but you felt safe and secure...even looking at the marks on your wrist.
"Are you alright?" Kira whispered over at you when she noticed you staring at your scars.
"Yeah. I actually am. Will you...?" You held out your wrist to her and smiled softly.
"Are you sure?" At her question your eyes flickered over to Hawks who was holding out Takeo to a nervous Endeavor. His expression clearly saying 'look what I made'.
"I'm sure." You had never been more okay in your life.

"Sunshine...." Keigo wrapped his arms around your waist from behind and rested his head on your shoulder. You had just put Takeo to bed here at home. The three of you had just gotten home even. "You are absolutely beautiful you know?"
You giggled softly at the feel of his lips on your neck. It reminded you of one thing you hadn't been able to do before hand. Another thing he had been so absolutely patient with. Over a year and he had been so respectful. So patient. Even though you knew it was hard on him.
And it wasn't like you didn't want it. You did. You missed it. With him. You were just scared with the amount of physical triggers you had at first. The ones he worked through with you. And today, you wanted it. Seeing him in the suit. Staring at you in awe as you walked down the aisle. The sunset. The cake. The dance. The laughter. The precious time you had with him.
You wanted him.
Turning your head you met his gaze. Takeo was fast asleep but you could be quiet. There were other rooms too. You just wanted this man who had so much love for you in his gaze.
"Keigo..." You turned fully in his arms and cupped his face, smiling softly. "It's our wedding night. Can we...? Will you?" You fought off the blush as best you could, feeling the sudden heat in his gaze.
"Mrs. Takami I believe you are thinking some very naughty thoughts. Tsk tsk." He placed a kiss to your forehead as he gripped your hands. Kissing each one before pausing and starting at your right wrist. "The scars-" They were gone.
"I don't need them any more. So, dear husband of mine, help me out of this dress and make love to me?" While you were nervous you were also full of anticipation.
"How can I refuse my beautiful and oh so wonderful wife?" He smiled up at you and pulled you close.
He took his time, removing the dress, kissing you where he could, every chance he got. Laying you on the bed and loving every part of you. You were tense at first. Even when his mouth was on your sex.
But you quickly were lost to the pleasure. You wondered what you had been so worried about? Squirming beneath him like this. Biting back moans as he drove you to a climax. You had almost forgotten the feeling of it. The high.
He spent all night loving you. Taking his time with you like it was your first time. He moved slow. Holding you and kissing you. Whenever you felt like it was too much he would stop. But you would urge him to continue. All night like that.
By morning you both were covered in sweat and your juices. And you were never happier.
