chapter 15:
just a friend

lee heuris pov;

after class, i head to jungkook at the library before he goes to his class.

i see jungkook focusing hard on his work as i sneak up behind him. i continue to snicker as i placed both of my hands on his shoulders giving him a shock as he screams.

the whole library told him to shush and gave us looks as i start to die silently.
"heuri! that was so embarrassing" he whispered as i continue to laugh.

i sit next to him as i lean on the table, resting.
"how was class?" he asks me as i shut my eyes, resting. "it was fine, im so hungry though. do you have to go to class?"

he laughs. "of course i do. my class starts in 20 minutes i think? wait what time is it?" he asks as i pull out my phone placing it on the table.

but instead of checking the time, i saw messages from taehyung as i quickly pick up the phone but i knew for a fact jungkook saw the messages instead of checking the time too.

"you okay?" he asks chuckling. "yeah, sorry. um its 12:36pm"

jungkook nods as i smile awkwardly. "who texted?"
"just a friend."
"really?"
"yeah don't worry about it."
jungkook looks at me weirdly as he shrugs it off. "are you willing to wait for me for a bit when i go to class? it will end around 2pm then after, we can eat yeah?"

i smile. "okay."
jungkook chuckles as he continues to revise as i rest my eyes, still feeling the guilt.

"heuri... heuriii" i hear a voice say as i felt myself shaking. i look up seeing jungkook standing up. "you passed out and as much as i want you to keep resting, i have to go. i lost track of time and im late." he says seeing him wearing his bag and holding his things.

"oh yes, just go. you didn't need to wake me up." i say as i wipe my mouth, realising i have been drooling. "i didn't want to leave you alone and i most definitely didnt want you waking up seeing nobody with you."

i smile. "aw thank you"
"hehe ok i gotta run. ill see you after class, okay?"
"yes, take care and study hard!" i say as he runs off, waving at me.

i smile brightly. jungkook is so adorable and so sweet.

i grab my phone from my pocket as i widen my eyes, seeing multiple messages and calls.

i finished reading all his text messages as i panicked.

he was waiting for me at the cafe?! ALREADY?!

he really wants to meet me gosh. i grab my bag and head to the cafe. i had atleast 30mins to waste til i see jungkook again.

so i decided to go visit taehyung to see whats up.
