(REWRITTEN) Chapter 1: Growing Mushrooms

3rd Pov:

"Riiiiiiiin, will you play with me?" The sound of his brothers empty voice rung though Rin's castle hallways.

Rin tuned around and came face to face with his green haired brother who had a bored expression- although not many could tell he was bored, Rin had learned to see past his brothers never changing expression long ago.

"As much as I would love to Amaimon, I have to leave soon. I'll be meeting with father and mother today before dinner. But if you want you can come with me, I'm sure father wont mind and if he does I can get him to change his mind." Rin's kind smile turned sinister at the end of his sentence.

All though Amaimon didn't look disturbed at his brothers words or smile- he was. He remembered the last time he 'changed his fathers mind'. It wasn't a pretty sight. Rin had to apologize several times to him in order for his their father to unlock his door.

"Ah, no need. I"ll go to go get Astaroth to play with me." And with that Amaimon left leaving a confused Rin behind.

"Um, okay?" The demon king said to no one in particular.

And so, he continued his way though his own castle looking for his trustworthy familiar- Kuro.

Rin's Pov:

I found Kuro playing with one of Lucifer's familiars and had to chase Kuro around when I told him we were leaving, and in the end he hid in a sink?

'I'm not sure how he hoped that would turn out but- Last time I had to chase him he hid in a bathroom cupboard. I don't even know how he got up there- but I'm confused all the time.' I made my way through my kingdom with a 'struggling' cat in my arms.

Tonight we'll be having a family dinner and father has asked me to come early because he wants to talk about how well me kingdom is doing, but we all know it's really going to be him whining about how he never sees me or any of us and how this is the only time we ever come to visit. When in reality we visit all the time- and when he say's he asks us to come and we refuse is really just him being petty.

'And every exorcist in Assiah thinks he's a threat to humanity, they've got to have a screw loose or some thing.' I rolled my eyes at my own thoughts and sighed as I reached fathers castle.

Mentally preparing my self for the next few hours or so of father -the most powerful being in both Assiah and Gehenna- crying about how he misses us and me having to comfort him.

'I should get paid for this.' Another sigh escaped my lips but was quickly replaced with a smile.

I loved my family no matter what, I wouldn't change it for the world. (this is so corny, what am I doing with my life)

With that I walked past a few guards and greeted them as they allowed me to pass though the Gates to the castle.

After at least an hour of fathers whining my brothers started to arrive. Both me and father got up to greet who ever they were- and to no surprise the first person to show up was Lucifer.

"Hello Rin, hello father, has anyone else arrived yet?" Lucifer asked.

"No one ever gets here before you besides me, Luci. You're really a suck up sometimes you know." I teased.

Before he had the chance to reply father cut in. "I quite like how he is and I quote a 'suck up'. Unlike you who bosses me around." He crossed his arms, looked away and huffed dramatically like the teenage school girl he is sometimes.

3rd Pov:

"Well I'll continue to 'boss you around' until you can finally figure out how to use a microwave. And if you have a problem I can always tell Samael some of things you've said in the past hour. 'Oh rIn Do thEy nOT lOvE mE?' 'I'm sO lOnlEY, i WiSH yOu ALl wOUld COmE vIsIT MoRE-'." Rin mocked but Satan once again cut in.

"rIn shUt up." Satan pouted.

Rin turned to face Lucifer but instead of seeing his normally composed brother- he saw him wheezing on the floor clutching his sides. When Satan saw this he walked over to a corner with a gloomy atmosphere and began growing mushrooms. (me: tries to be funny but fails and is just awkward instead, also OHSHC references my dudes)

"Rin dear what have I told you about picking on your father, hmm?" A voice made it's way down a case of stairs.

"My apologies mother, but father was just questioning my authority." Rin apologized but his smirk never faltered.

"Yuri! Why is Rin so meeeean?" Satan looked up to be met with his wife's face.

"Well you should know better that to question a demons status, shouldn't you? Maybe then Rin wouldn't be so 'mean'." Man- Lucifer was getting a kick out of this wasn't he.

"HELLO~" Satan's second oldest's and most flamboyant son's voice seemingly appeared out of thin air. "Huh, what's wrong with Lucifer, father?" Samael (should I call him that or Mephisto, I dunno) teased, already amusing Rin was picking on their father once more.

"YURI! Why are they so mean to me!" Satan shouted but no one really listened.

"Rin?" Yuri called out for her youngest son.

"Yes, mother?" Rin asked looking up from picking with the mushrooms with Kuro that had been growing around his father.

"Why don't you and your brothers see when dinner will be done and see if anyone else has arrived. I'll take care of him." Yuri said and pointed towards Satan, who now instead of growing mushrooms was on the floor sulking instead.

"Yes, have fun with that." He said and took off with both of his oldest siblings, not looking back at his parents.

With them gone Yuri turned back to her sulking husband and sighed.

"Must you be so difficult?" She shook her head but smiled anyway and walked over to the ruler of Gehenna.

'Was this really the same person that the exorcist clams to be a threat?'

This is the most I've written in a chapter, and damn I'm proud of my self even though I once was talking to a friend on my phone then asked 'where's my phone' then realized how stupid I can be while my friend laughed at me. Fun times.

Okay clarification, Yuri is alive and living in Gehenna ruling along side Satan. And I'm debating weather or not Yukio and Rin should be brothers or cousins or something.
