"Yoo-hoo! Diego? Luther?"

Carena wandered throughout the halls after her smoke break. Everyone seemed to be scattered in different areas. She finally spotted Diego next to his childhood room, but there were unfamiliar people standing between the two.

"Who the hell are you?" she blurted.

One of the people turned around, their face shrouded by a child's mask. Diego's eyes widened as their guns cocked and they both aimed at the siblings on opposite ends.

Carena shrieked as the first bullet shot towards her. She dropped low and scampered to the nearest wall for cover. Diego did the same on the other side.

"Why are you shooting at me?" she groaned.

She carefully crawled away, picking up the pace to run down the stairs into the living room. She saw Diego follow her and they hid. Carena squatted behind the bar while Diego was behind the couch.

"Who the hell are they?" she whispered shouted angrily.

Her brother shushed her as a pair of footsteps approached. They quieted their breathing, Carena having to covering her mouth to do so.

The footsteps stopped and they randomly shot at all parts of the room. Carena ducked lower and covered her head as glass shattered and rained down on her.

Suddenly the shooting stopped and grunts replaced it. The familiar voice of Allison and Luther called out for them to run. Carena peeked out from behind the wooden island.

Luther was taking on the big guy, pushing him out into the foyer. Allison took the woman, kicking her repeatedly. Both of the guns were loosely held, making Carena worried.

But she tossed the worry aside and grabbed the nearest bottle to her. She ran up to the woman, whose back was to her, and slammed the glass against her head. The woman crumbled and Diego took the time to grab his sister's hand and drag her with them as they ran away.

Diego hid them as the woman chased Allison into the kitchen. He turned and held her arms seriously, "Stay here."

"What?" she exclaimed, "No way!"

"We can handle this," he reasoned.

"And you think I can't?"

"I-"

"I may be drunk half the time but I can still kick some ass."

"Help Luther. We've got this one," he said calmly.

She sighed and reluctantly nodded. She ran back upstairs and into the foyer where the two larger men were fighting.

"What are you doing here?" Luther shouted.

"Helping!"

He was quickly shoved into the nearest wall, his body harshly thumping against the ground. Carena stepped forward confidently, facing the masked man head on.

He laughed, "What's a little girl like you gonna do to me?"

She smirked,

"Why don't you come over here and find out?"

She made a 'come at me' gesture and held her fists up in a fighting position. She felt her body's energy connect to Luther's, pulling at his strength. Her limbs felt strong and her adrenaline pumped.
