In line with the system's requirements, excluding very specific scenarios, a confession of their misunderstanding by the host themselves to an unknowing individual is undoubtedly not allowed.

Listening to the unrelenting notifications of point penalties, darkness flashed before Su Shi's eyes, and he bent down at the waist without making a sound.

Immediately, at least four of the people around him called out in surprise and confusion; asking about his injuries.

The punishing fine on one side, the freefalling misunderstanding value on the other; Su Shi wanted nothing more than to end the task right there and then on Vino's chest, but was pulled and dragged, back onto the bed in a confused tangle of arms and hands.

"Senior Dana, I'm sorry."

The tall youth who had once choked him on the wall kneeled down beside the bed and held onto the metal frame with reddened eyes, lowly apologising in a sincere tone.

"We didn't understand senior's situation, and directed our own misunderstandings and hurt towards you; yet you never gave up on us. To the extent where you were willing to carry the weight of our anger on your own body; in order to protect us from our own madness......"

Su Shi lay on the bed, softly lifting a corner of his lips towards him, and covered the youth's head in reassurance, too captured in his own sadness to say a word.

His originally optimistic XP was lowering at a visible speed; if he let these people out in to the wild, he might wake up one day to find that the entire country had found out that he was actually an honourable spy.

If only an asteroid could fall, crashing into the command of the Rebellion; then everyone could die together.

As soon as this suicidal thought came into his mind, a sudden boom sounded in what seemed like extreme proximity to the room; the accompanying quake shaking the entire Rebellion command to its foundations.

Su Shi saw his vision go dark as the full strength of the force wave hit him; a faint taste of blood rising immediately in his chest. His thoughts wandered hazily around his system functions (and whether or not one of them had opened up a new wishing ability), while Vino had already pushed forwards to guard him under his body: "Cover!"

The unrelenting explosions continued to sound in twos and threes. Su Shi's body was already weakened, his consciousness almost pulled into darkness by pain and confusion; a sudden touch softly graced his forehead.

"Don't sleep, Dana, stay a little longer......"

Instinctively opening his eyes, Vino's dark pupils showed his vivid worry and insecurity; unconcealed, for the first time.

He was very clear on how fragile Dana's body had become; this kind of bombing had long since become quotidian for the rebel army, but would be more than enough to extinguish the sputtering flame of Dana's life.

Su Shi let out a few muted coughs, marks of blood stamping the edge of his lips, and smiled thinly towards the other man, the light of his eyes that had seemed so dim quickly regaining their splendour and shine.

What a joke.

Washing him clean of his crimes while he slumbers in a coma; publicising all his plots and sabotage his XP, forcing him to return to the main lobby miserable and wretched.

Don't you dare to even think about it.

His strong will seemed to also trigger the hidden vitality within his body; the health value that had been beginning to slip finding its grip, initiating a slow climb back towards the top.
