It was a calm, crisp autumn night on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Headmistress Minerva McGonagall, sat in her office, an ink-dipped quill scrawling across the parchment. Suddenly, an out of breath teacher bursts into the room, eyes wide. "Why, whatever is the matter Slughorn?" The headmistress asked, looking up from her desk at the other staff member. "I-it's those five boys, they escaped-" That's all she need to hear before striding over to a cabinet, opening it and sorting through it efficiently with her slender fingers, and pulling out five files, one with a Ravenclaw crest, two with a Hufflepuff crest and finally, two files with a Slytherin crest.

In silence, she walked back over to the elegantly organised desk, and opens each one. With a melancholy sigh, she looks back up at her fellow teacher. "Send a few of the teachers out after them. We need them back here, or else the Ministry will get involved and that's the last thing we need after last time." Slughorn nodded frantically and scurried out the room. As soon as her coworker had left, McGonagall looked through her silver framed glasses down at the files.

With a shake of her head, the headmistress closed the files and replaced them in their original home. She sat down once again, looking at the unfinished letter on the table. Minerva tugged the glasses off of her face, before rubbing the sleep out of her weary eyes.  Turning back to the star-speckled sky, she hoped for the best outcome. That night had turned out to not be so calm, and it was only the beginning of a life of dodging metaphorical bludgers left and right for five runaway students.
