Looking for

Ang kaninang sigla na nararamdaman ko ay biglang nawala na parang bula. I was spacing out during our lunch. It was Randy who even ordered a food for me and every time he asks me what is wrong, I only answer it with a forced smile while shaking my head.

Kahit ngayong patungo kami sa amusement park na kung saan ako ang nagsuggest ay parang mas lalo akong nawalan ng gana. I am pretty much sure I saw his face somewhere. His presence is bothering.

Should I try to ask Randy? No, I can't, definitely not. He over react most of the times.

"Are you really okay? We can go home if you're not feeling well," bumalik ako sa wisyo ng magsalita si Randy tungkol sa paguwi naming sa bahay.

Mabilis akong umiling. Ayoko pang bumalik doon, magkukulong lang naman ako sa loob ng aking kwarto buong araw. Mas mabuti ng sulitin ko ang paglabas ko ngayon. Isa pa ako rin naman ang nagyaya na magpunta sa amusement park, hindi dapat maging ganito ang akto.

Kahit na may hindi ako maipaliwanag sa loob ko, pinilit kong maging masigla. I forced myselg to be cheerful on the way.

"Ano kayang mga rides ang mayroon doon," sabi ko sakaniya, forcing myself to be excited.

I sighed in relief when I saw he smiled back, hindi napansin ang pagpwersa ko sa aking sarili na maging masiyahin. He laughed, looking at my wonderful and excited expression.

"You're mocking at me inside your head right," nakanguso kong saad sa kaniya habang matalim siyang tinignan.

"No," he swiftly answered, I am not convinced though.

Forcing my self to be cheerful seems effective though as Randy and I cheerily conversed throughout the way. If there is a building caught my interest, I ask it immediately to Randy to familiarize myself maski ang ilang daan kung saan ito patungo.

Hindi ko alam ang pasikot sikot dito. Pero mabilis ko namang nahulaan na nasa amusement park na kami ni Randy ng makarating kami doon, a lot of people lining up on the entrance. Most are families and a circle of friends. All of them seem excited, at ang excitement ko rin ay bumalik na ng makita ko ang ilang matataas na rides.

Mas namangha ako ng pumasok kami sa loob. Screams with excitement and fear of people, laughter and giggles of teens and children with their family, they are enjoying. Maski ako ay di ko maiwasang manabik.

"Let's go!" excited na aya ko kay Randy at hinila ang sleeve ng kaniyang polo. He left no choice but to pick up the quick pace with me.

I am ignorant with this kind of things, kaya naman kung saan saan ko siya hinili. We started with simple rides, then to extreme rides. Magkatabi kami sa roller coaster at magkahalong kaba ang naramdaman ko at excitement. When we reach the peak I started screaming while Randy seems to enjoy my reaction.

Hindi ako nakontento doon at hinila ko pa siya sa ibang mga rides kahit na marami-rami na rin ang sinakyan ko. Medyo mahaba nga lang ang pila sa iba. We tries some games, too. Natatawa na lamang kami kapag natatalo kami.

"Aren't you tired yet?" nakangiting tanong niya sa akin but I only shook my head.

"I am still enjoying this," I grinned.

We stop near a shop, may ibinebentang ice cream doon na tinuro ko na naman sa kaniya. He only shrugged then followed me. I was like a child who has its first taste in freedom.
