SONG: Happier Ed Sheeran Slowed

"So whats the track list?" You guys started talking about the songs you were to play especially the covers you are going to sing. "Too good at goodbye. Sam Smith. On the piano while I sing...hopefully." The crew looked at each other and smiled. "Don't hope, its happening." You looked up and grinned thanking them. You headed out to the stage and started rehearsals for choreography and encore songs. "Hey Ed, I'm around actually. Whats up?" You picked up your phone with Ed Sheeran on the phone. "Oh cool. I'm having a concert tonight. You wanna come and perform or..."

A hand was placed around you shoulder. "I don't mind." You turned around and hugged him. "How are you? I haven't seen you in a while. How's Cherry?" You bombarded him with questions hinting that you missed him. You guys are best friends meeting during the Grammy Awards way back when , then collaborated, then eventually grew as one of your best friends. "Well... everything's great and plus aren't we rehearsing?" He looked at the stadium you were playing in being sentimental on how massive it was compared to your gigs. "We've done it aye, mate." He nudged you, as you replied with a smile just looking around and taking everything in.

"What song are we to perform?" He Britishly said while looking back at you. "Photograph? Is that ok with you?" He goes with a no problem as you guys grabbed your guitars. You started rehearsing photograph then later on added happier in the track list. "Whats with the emotion, lad?" You chuckled at him hoping to dodge his question. "Tell me. There's something wrong. I know when your emotions are too much especially when singing." You gave him a sad smile and took him into a hug pouring your tears out. "I can't take it anymore... I-I don't know what I'm feeling but its killing me. I feel so— used, so— so broken, so painful." You broke down and tears some more as he hugged you tighter and led you backstage.

He sat you down and asked you whats wrong. It was just you two talking and alone in one room. You explained your feelings for Tom. "Its childish I know, but its crappy now. I felt like I was used as an instrument to get something he wanted. I felt— shattered. When in reality it was my own feelings that hurt me." You buried your head onto your hands. You sniffed and poured more things out. You knew that you didn't wanna cry to either Zendaya nor Jacob because... it doesn't feel right. You trusted them but there is that best friend factor with Ed that keeps you from hiding. He was an older brother figure and a mentor to you, he gave you time to blossom as a young singer while still telling you things that are wrong and right.

"One, its not childish. It's pain your talking about more so emotions. Two, I know how that feels and I won't tell you that you should stop crying, because its ok. Three, just know that being shattered just teaches you on how to fix and build your broken self again. Its just that you were broken in a different way. Four, like what I always say, a heart thats been broken is a heart that's been loved. Fifth, don't blame your feelings because you can't control them, it just manageable." For the first time in so long you let your guard down once again and broke down to the only person whom you could ever trust...Yourself.

I'm sorry... I'm sorry that I broke you. I'm sorry that I'm not something you can immediately stop. I'm sorry that you have to get hurt with something you shouldn't be. I'm sorry for holding onto something that wasn't really suppose to be there. I'm sorry that I would give you false hopes, broken hearts, and sorrow.

Your heart was apologizing as if it was crying with you through the pain. You gave up... emotionally and mentally. You broke yourself because it was the right thing to do then to hold on to something that will soon break... at least I can work on building again... but this time sooner and faster. After a few minutes you found yourself in front of the mirror and taking a deep breath in and swallowed the lump on your throat down. "5 more minutes 'till the intro everybody in place." One of the production radio-d. You and your team said a quick prayer and huddled. "Lets do this! Last show!" You guys cheered as you were over sounded by the crowd. You took a deep breathe as the screens open leading you to the stage.

The crowds roared and screamed your name. You started singing and poured your heart out forgetting about the crying that went on behind the scenes. You gave meaning to every word you sung, in every action you danced, and every emotion you felt. You gave everything you had and that mad you happy. Coming toward half of the show Ed Sheeran came out of stage with roars once again rumbling the stadium. Guitars were handed to you as you started to look at your friends, that were in front of you but one was missing... Tom. His whole family was there except him and only him. The one time he could make it up to you he fucked up. Ed looked at you signaling you that it was about to start.

"Loving can hurt... Loving can hurt sometimes." You started the song as rehearsed. Eyes were closed, mouth was open and singing, crowds roaring, emotions capturing, and heart pounding. Your fingers were strumming the strings while your mind recalled you memories of how you were hurt, happy, and whole. You opened your eyes and saw lights shining from bracelets and phone making it seem like you were in the center of gravity. "We keep this love in a photograph. Making memories for ourselves." You soon felt tears streaming down you face while the crowd noticed.

You wrapped up 'Photograph' and proceeded to sing Happier. This would break me right now. "Cos baby you look happier. You do. I knew one day you'd fall for someone knew. But if she breaks your heart like lovers do. I promise that I'll be waiting here for you." It felt like time was so fast as you wrapped up the last song and giving applauses to Ed, glancing at the audience hoping that he came. No sigh either... you mentally sighed and continues. The show must go on.

You wrapped up the concert and thanked all the staff members. You grabbed your phone and saw missed calls from Tom. "I'm sorry, Laura was in London and I had to go with her. I'm really really sorry. I hope mum and dad gave you as much as support. Sorry, love." You threw your phone on the couch leaving him on seen. You walked out and hugged your companions. "Thanks for coming guys... It really means a lot to me." You smiled at them as they thanked you as well for inviting them. "Come on lets go home. We'll get going now, dear." You said your farewells while you turned around walking back to your waiting room. "Hey... can we hangout tonight... Just the two of us. I wanna make it up to you."

"Sure. I'll message you." You turned your phone off and headed back to the hotel and got ready.
