The Moment I Knew Taylor Swift Slowed.

"Hi." You wore simple shorts, cropped top, windbreaker, and rubber shoes. You took a deep breath in and came a bit more closer engulfing him in a hesitant hug. Once you let go you just sadly smiled at him. "I'm sorry, its just that Laura came here and—" You shut him up saying that it was no problem at all. You guys started catching up... well at least just him. You were quiet than normal and spaced out. You did not wanting to feel like he was talking to air nor you avoiding him nor you were tired. "So how was the concert?" Sad, disappointing without you there. But a lot of people made me happier. "It was great! Harrison, Sam, Harry, Paddy, Your parents, Zendaya and Jacob were there." You tried to sound cheerful.

He just nodded breaking eye contact. Silence hugged the two of you as you felt more distanced with him. "What's wrong?" It's me that has something wrong. Why bother asking him. "Its just, you seem distant lately." You turned your head to him with a questionable face, even if you clearly know that you are... really avoiding him. "You don't text like you use too, our calls don't last as long, we don't talk as much, nor do we hang out as much anymore. You always have something to do." You looked down, he was clearly very observant to the little things you have been doing to shut him out slowly.

"I'm sorry... my schedules just got the best of me." You whispered to him when you wanna scream your lungs out on how jealous you are, how lonely you felt, how used you were, and how much emotional exhaustion you had to endure. You wanted to break down and speak but your heart tells you not to. You felt heavy and uneasy about what you were going to respond. You in reality are swallowing your feeling to be able to make yourself feel better without hurting the other side of the spectrum.

"You never use your schedules as an excuse. You never do that. Laura doesn't do that! At least she was more approachable then you were—" you slapped him. He was shocked with your actions so were you. "You don't know what I've endured to swallow everything behind and set everything beside so I won't ruin this friendship for my bullshit. MY BULLSHIT." You pointed to yourself huffing. Imagine being compared to some other girl while you set everything aside, as well as you feelings just to stay beside him at least.

"You ditched me once but twice. 'You never use my schedules as an excuse'." You mimicked him. You were so angry at this point. "Well I don't use dating rumors as an excuse because I fighting for our friendship, but looks like were going to somewhere no good." Your tears fell, the lights felt so dim and blurred while you throat was begging you to stop talking. You felt a thousand times lighter but all the weight has not left your body left. You sniffed as you hyperventilated. "I never use them as an excuse because I knew we were really just friends but the fact that you would have to indirectly call me remote or distant is a really really offensive thing to call a girl who just wanted to set her feeling aside for her fucking best friend. And the fact that she had to break her own heart just to do so. YOU CALL THAT DISTANT. I WAS FUCKING DITCHED CAUSE I THOUGHT YOU WANTED ME TO DISTANCE MYSELF FROM YOU. You know what if thats the case I don't think this friendship can go anywhere else anymore. I'll just help you make up a story on why we don't talk anymore."

You turned around walking away while you heard him calling your name running after you. He grabbed your wrist while you yanked it. "Stop please. Thats the only thing I ask from you." He was about to bargain with you but you didn't let him. "Tom, if you really respect me as your friend, thats the least you could do." You turned back around leaving years of friendship behind. You went to the cafe you loved her in London hoping to ease yourself down. You opened your phone and saw missed calls from both Jacob and Zendaya. Your not in your room. Where are you? 'at least they cared' you ordered hot chocolate and sat back down.

You were met with your [ex] best friend, Tom. "Why didn't you tell them you were going out?" You were just silent as if you don't hear him. He sat in front of you sighing. "Come on let me take you back." You looked back at him shaking your head. "I wasn't asking you. I'm telling you too." You stubbornly did not answer him. "At least one last time before we cut everything off." He pleaded full of sincerity and sorrow. You swallowed your ego and stood up to his car.

It was awfully silent which is I guess the new norm for you two. "Can we just act like were fine in front of the others?" You coldly nodded not paying attention to him as much. You reached you destination in what seems like an hour was just 5 mins. You opened the door and coldly thanked him. "Oh, thanks for the memories. I'll make sure I'll never loose them the way that I lost you." You shut the door leaving the young man dumbfounded while you headed up to the hotel.
