Waiting × For × The × Final × Phase × To × End

A/N: The time might not be accurate because I'm writing at school and cannot check the episodes to make it accurate.

I was laying on my hotel room's bed. I had to wait for the Final Phase to end. Alone. I don't know when it will be over, nor who will pass. I gladly wanted Killua or Gon to do so, but I sadly can't decide that. 

I sighed and cautiously got up without hurting myself since my wounds didn't heal yet. Well, it's logic, they don't heal in a short amount of time like that. It was 11 AM and I just woke up. I approached the curtain and opened them. For a moment, the glimmering light of the sun blinded me.

My mind wandered on the previous events. After the phase ended, I and Killua went to find Gon to tell him what happened and where they had to meet me when the exam end. They both left and I was accompanied to a hospital. My wounds have been bandaged better than the job Killua did and they just told me to rest.

Grr, I still haven't forgiven that damn pin freak. Because of him, it'll be way harder for me to find my parents. 

Honestly, I could listen to Katsuro and forget about meeting mom and dad. He always told me they were dead, which is probably the case. But I just have to know if it's true. For my own reasons that I'm not telling you. Why am I talking to myself like I'm the narrator of some sort of book? That's dumb.

I decided to go visit the city. It was my first time somewhere that wasn't my hometown and I was curious. Well, there was this one time when big bro took me on vacation but I was really young. 

Nearly 2 days have passed. 1 day and 6 hours to be exact. Nothing much happened, I didn't get any news from the boys. I started to think they abandoned me, except if it's as long as the 3rd and 4th phases. But I kept worrying about them getting hurt. I got pretty close to them in the 50 hours we had to wait. They were my first friends and probably the last.

I opened the door and made my way toward the elevator. The hotel wasn't fancy but it was good for someone broke as hell like me. The maids made an awesome job with cleaning, the food was good, and the rooms were average size. It was the best I could hope for.

I left the hotel. I'm sure today my bad luck wouldn't get to me. After all, I'm just exploring. What could go wrong?

TIME SKIP

"HELP!"

I ran down the alley I went in, yelling for help. My wounds were hurting. How the fuck did I get into this mess?

Okay, maybe it's my fault for zoning out and went the wrong way... Fine, it's totally my fault. And now, I was stuck with crazy dogs running after because I trespassed on private property by mistake.

I looked behind me, and sadly saw they were still after me, their barks resonating in the shadows of the alleyway. 

I had absolutely no experience with dogs. They never liked me, nor did I liked them either. I guess that's why I was in this situation right now. Arrgg, that sucks!

Finally, the end of the alley appeared in front of me. There was surely gonna be people in the street that's gonna help me, right? Once I reached the light, I bumped into something. Well, someone.

"Daijobu deska?" A playful voice asked me as I fell on my butt.

As I lifted my face to insult the guy that blocked my way, my eyes met green innocent ones. He looked so kind it would've been a pain to call him a bitch. 

"Yeah, thanks..." I mumbled while getting up.

Suddenly, the barks of the dogs made me come back to reality. I let out a scream and hid behind the boy. Honestly, my inexperience with dogs wasn't the only problem. I didn't want to admit it but they scared me.

The boy glared at me curiously, then at the dark alley. He probably saw the creepy as fuck creatures because he went in the small street. He finally disappeared from my sight and the only thing I could do is wait. Oh God, please don't let these vicious creatures kill him.

He finally came back. The alley was silent as if the dogs evaporated. Dang, what the hell happened there? 

He gave me a cheerful grin and told me he took care of it. My hero. I was finally saved from these monsters. 

"Arigatogozaimashita!" I bowed down.

"It's nothing! So, tell me, what's your name?" He asked.

"Kaya, what about you?"

"I'm Shalnark. It was nice meeting you but I have to go somewhere right now."

He then smiled and left. Well, it's not like he stopped since I met him.

TIME SKIP

I was finally back in my room. Apart from the dog incident, the day went pretty smoothly. I was exhausted, but happy. The city was prettier than expected and the food was awesome.

I laid on my bed and sighed. I was tired as hell. Now would be the worst time to disturb me.

Knock

Knock

Nevermind what I said before, today was a shitty day.

A groan escaped my lips and I made my way toward the door. I'll just tell anyone that's here to fuck off. 

The person knocking was getting more and more impatient. I opened the door and before I was standing three silhouettes that I perfectly recognized. 

"Hi, Kaya! How are you?" A small green-haired boy asked.

"Good, what about you?" I didn't take the time to respond politely. My eyes were searching for a certain tsundere. He wasn't there. What happened when I was chilling at the hotel? 

"Are you listening, Kaya?" 

Oh. Apparently, Shorty was talking to me when I zoned out. 

"Oh, yeah sorry. What did you say again?"

"Killua failed. We believe that his brother hypnotized him. Now, we have to go to Kukuroo Mountain and take him back with us. You coming?"

"Well, duh."

A/N: I'm planning on writing other books and I need some opinions on which to do first. I asked my friends but I'm still not sure. Since I'm watching Haikyuu right now, it's probably gonna be about it. Here are the options:
