Ray giggled as she drizzled a bit of flour in Erick's hair before looking away quickly signalling for Sienna to keep quiet as she giggled along with her mother. The small family was still in their matching Christmas onesies which they had called asleep in the previous night after coming home from the hospital. Erick woke them up that morning bright and early to make Christmas cookies although it was already the day after he wanted to carry the tradition he was robbed of this year.

"What are you laughing at?" Erick asked the 2 girls who tried their best to keep their giggles at bay
"Nofing" Sienna said putting a finger to her lips
"Are you hiding secrets from daddy?" Erick asked in pretend hurt
"no" Sienna drew looking away
"You're teaching my princess how to lie now mami?" Erick asked Ray who looked at the cookie dough
"What? Me? i am as innocent as they come" Ray smiled
"Oh is it?" Erick asked setting the bowl down "i guess i have to get it out of you"
"No" Ray said moving away from him
"Come here!" Erick yelled running after Ray

The two chased each other around the kitchen, Sienna screaming for her mother to get away before Erick caught Ray. He attacked her sides with his fingers making Ray double over in laughter as she fell to the floor.

"Nada mas!" Ray yelled breathlessly
"Are you going to tell me?" Erick asked cocking a brow
"Ask Sienna" Ray said wiping her eyes
"Sienna" Erick said looking at his daughter
"Flour attack!" Ray yelled hitting Erick with a handful of flour making Sienna squeal
"Oh you laughing? you laughing princesa?" Erick smirked sprinkling some flour on Sienna's head
"Hey you'll wash her hair" Ray said pouring sugar down Erick's shirt
"Mamita" Erick shrudded "Guess we have to bath together"
"Huh-

Before Ray could get her question out Erick threw flour in her face, making Ray grab a handful of it and fling it at him only to get Sienna in the face.
"Awe picture time!" Ray yelled grabbing her phone "say casper the ghost"
"Because you literally painted the kitchen in flour or because you should disappear now?" Ray's mother asked from the door
"Ma-
"Clean it or we'll have problems" Ray's mother said sternly
"Si" Ray said quietly
"I'm playing with you princesa, go get cleaned up, i'll clean and finish the cookies" Ray's mother laughed wiping her daughters cheek
"Gracias ma" Ray smiled kissing her mother's cheek grabbing Sienna
"When did we move in with the Adams family?" Zabdiel asked seeing the floured up family pass them
"That's what happens when children have a child" Aaliyah smiled snuggling further into Zabdiel's chest
"Aaliyah-
"Oh for the love of cheese can i not have a day of relaxation!" Aaliyah yelled at the sound of her name
"Okay i guess you don't want your wedding to run smoothly then" Richard shrugged

Aaliyah sighed and sat up to look at Richard
"What?" she said sternly
"Aleesha told me to give you these, she's not sure she'll be discharged in time" Richard said handing her a list
"Are these the things that still need to be done?" Aaliyah questioned
"Yeah" Richard said taking his jacket "see yall"
"What does it say?" Zabdiel asked once Richard was gone
"it says 'enjoy your day'" Aaliyah said simply
"That's what you need to do then" Zabdiel said leaning her back into his arms
"But-
"No buts. You've had a long year and you deserve nothing more than to just calm down and enjoy the one day that's dedicated to you alone" Zabdiel said massaging her shoulders
"Mmh keep talking and massaging i might just marry you tomorrow" Aaliyah mumbled in a daze
"Te Amo" Zabdiel said softly
"te amo mi amor" Aaliyah mumbled

"You're doing good, recovering quickly" The nurse said
"Thanks Angel" Aleesha smiled finishing off her breakfast "hey what time did Richard leave last night?"
"3AM" Angel replied "it was just as i was coming in"
"oh lord" Aleesha sighed
"Whats wrong?" Angel asked
"It's nothing, i just don't want him worrying so much or worse, living this tour lifestyle" Aleesha said putting the utensils down
"Look, from what i've seen, you two really love each other, and the way he's always asking questions? he's a keeper" Angel smiled softly
"I mean that's why i married him" Aleesha smiled
"I hope you're talking about me" Richard said coming in with a bag in hand
"No you didn't" Aleesha said upon seeing the bag
"What? i just spoke to the head nurse so i can stay over the night and we can watch movies all night" Richard shrugged
"Mi corazon"Aleesha smiled "you really have to stop stretching yourself thin"
"Look, i'm okay. stop worrying about me. Tomorrow Aaliyah wants to visit you" Richard said
"That's fine with me as long as Yocelyn's okay with it" Aleesha said
"Of cause she is now move over lemme get in" Richard laughed

Aleesha moved over, watching Richard get into the bed before putting herself in his lap and snuggling into his chest. She felt her meds kick in as she drifted off to the sound of his heart beat in her ear

Erick walked out of the bathroom, towel hanging off his hips to find Ray and Sienna in their bathrobes on the bed, Ray applying her night creams while Sienna watched on with interest, some cartoon Ray had put on long forgotten by the toddler

"Sienna" Erick tried but she wouldn't budge
"told you she's a mommy's girl" Ray smirked blowing a kiss
"No, she's a daddy's girl" Erick protested "right princess?"
"Christopher!" Sienna exclaimed loudly
"Bruh...." Ray said looking at Erick "this is your fault pucha!"
"mine? how?" Erick asked
"Stop letting my child hang around Christopher"!Ray said simply
"What if she likes it!" Erick asked
"Then you'll be sleeping out on the couch because we're not about to have the same situation as Aaliyah" Ray said
"Pero-
"Pero nada"
