Big words ain't big enough
Many words still aren't enough
Fancy words can't measure up
To describe the feelings I am getting now
Maybe its age
Adolescence stage
That colours each page
With you, eitherway
It's more than I'd say
So I lock it away
Writing is the only place
That can keep it all safe
The tending towards drugs
The insatiable lust
The breaking of rules
And the friends that come with such
The inconsistent views
My inconsistent self
Yet whenever I'm with you
It all balances out
All these external pressures
All this internal mess
Only quiets down
When you're in my midst
So it's selfish to say
And needy to ask
Yet I still ask you to stay
And keep me intact
