For You

For you, I'd write upon 10 billion pages
For you, I'd tear out each paper
And pile them up like a staircase
Then I'd write as much as I needed to
To complete that stairway
To your heart
And I'd enjoy each part

For you, I'd write a song
Even though my body's got no musical bone
I'd write something close enough to musical notes
That you couldn't tell the difference from what I compose
I'd learn what I can from all the musical souls
That would probably write something better
Then probably just send you one of their songs
But then again ..for you ....I'd write

For me ..you're like a shooting star
Flew past me like there was something wrong
By the time I wished I said 'hi'
You were already gone

But shooting stars have to land somewhere, right
So I'd write these thoughts and shoot them into the night
Probably with a bazooka ...or something...
...something bigger ...I dont know
And hope it would cross galaxies to find you
And not just flicker by
But make its orbit around you
My thoughts could become your planetarium
So you could gaze at how beautiful it is
To think about you

For you, I'd write more than words
I'd write pictures
Of how I scowered other worlds
Yet still ...unable to capture
Someone like you
For you, I'd like to
Coz it's you I like

So yeah it's for you,
I definitely write
